This is my main complaint. I don't feel like I'm piloting a giant robot. Also the guns don't really feel heavy either. I think it's mainly the audio design that fucks with this.MAHP4

Overwatch was a lot of fun when it first came out. I exclusively played d.va because she had a mech. Now I have a whole game of mechs to play in hero shooter format. So I enjoy this game a lot so far.

Don't care will continue to play gundam versus and other rpgs/super robot. No waifus, animation, can't even see the mech and doesn't feel like more than shooter. It's the definition of soulless. Maybe non mech fans will enjoy it.

Yeah game has weird scaling and weight designs. Hoping they add in more “weight” sfx later down the line. As for the size you sort of just forget as you play, I realized that a game like this wouldn’t work with giant mechs unless everything else like buildings, doors and structures were just as gigantic

If mechs were slow and retarded they would loose all battles. The whole point of a mech is that it has the weapons and armor of a tank, but because it's shaped like a person it's acrobatic.

The game honestly feels like a cheap arcade game. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but it doesn't even have the same fluidity as overwatch does and feels like they introduced some form of jank into it, either because jap devs or to make it feel more like a mobile suit. It's wholly "alright" as an overwatch clone but with gbo2 and sd gundam battle alliance coming out I don't see it doing well at all.

My main issue is that it feels like every shot you fire is happening on server .3 seconds later.

Its not for a team game where good teamates are the only thing controlling it. Regardless, the rate is way too slow and winning and time spent should both be counted.

You only get 180 exp for a win vs 50 exp for a loss. You need 500 to go up a tier.

I played 20 matches at least before writing that.

I keep getting my ass kicked. That's probably what I should expect after not playing a multiplayer shooter since whenever they added the mann co shit to TF2. My aim and reflexes just aren't what it used to be. The only MS I can seem to play is Dom since they at least give some splash damage when I whiff my target. Also I despite matchmaking and its sad that this is the only option but then again I hear that's just the way things are these days. It would have been fun to have a Yea Forums server.

No one on /m/ cares about this trash because it’s just Overwatch with a Gundam skin.
