Jumping over things on the ground is rather intuitive.

If you want to use a colossal weapon, learn it's recovery times for every attack by heart or you'll get slapped.

Feints have always been a proper fighting technique and they can be made to look cool, but instead of:

When fighting on torrent, you have no iframes except if you completely stop and then dismount which is much slower than a roll. To fight dragons or fire giant on mount, you have to do a hit and run style play where you run away before they attack.
you can literally use heavy attacks on some delayed attacks, like Morgott ones, and still have time to dodge just fine

Yesterday I found an enemy that swings his claymore for an attack, then uses the claymore to propel himself off the ground into a front flip for another swing. I can't get mad at this kind of stuff it's too funny.

You can still dash the Draconic Sentinel hitscan meme lightning though. No iframes, you just slide out of it before it hits, tricky timing.

Are combined, so that the bosses delay their attacks until the instant you roll and then the attack goes off. So even if your roll would have been safe because it's a longer delayed attack, you'll still get hit because of Input Reading.
It's the cheapest, stupidest design imaginable. Remember in DS1 and 2 where you fought actual enemies who swung their weapons with actual weight behind them?
