Time, alone we bide our time

Time, alone we bide our time
Never will we know if our love is true
At night i sleep and dream of you
Only to awake in my empty room

Remake when

I love this game. It had God-tier aesthetics.

>developed by pajeet and co

Does it hold up? I always meant to play this

Yes, definitely. It's worth playing the trilogy despite the 3rd game being a bit weak. Warrior Within has an improved combat system but drops the kino aesthetics of the 1st game.

honestly if they just made the past segments more colorful it would be fine

not really. it's basic ps2 clunk. playable these days but your not gonna have much fun unless your masochist

The writing is surprisingly good.

Combat is repetitive, but the parkour and level design are top notch.

>ps2 clunk
What are you talking about? The game is very fluid. But I played it on gamecube so you were probably gimped by the PS2's limitations.

YOUUUUU GIVE ME POWEEEEERR

YOUUUUU GIVE ME REASOOOONN

I played it like a year ago for the first time and it was great

>entire game is the prince retelling what happened
>even deaths have context to that, where he'll go "no no, that didn't happen" when you get a game over

Having to babysit Farah was a bitch

>protagonist's appearance changes over the course of the game
Why is this such a rare thing

She is my wife

It's a good game, although the combat is pretty barebones, and the parkour mechanics while fun are mostly figuring where you need to go, the game kind plays itself when doing the actual parkour (like assassin's creed).
I was surprised with the story, I liked that the prince was kind of an asshole.

Having to babysit user's wife was a bitch

I still consider this the best action-puzzle-platformer ever created. Amazing atmosphere and innovative ideas all around.

You wish.

Just play the first game, it's well rounded and self contained. It's nice.

Warrior Within was amazing too, even if the atmosphere was completely different

warrior within is pure kino

this era of gaming was the best honestly

Warrior Within sucked Should dhave been a reboot not part of the trilogy. Sands of Time best. Two Thrones alrght

I did not care for Two Thrones.

Does Sands of Time look better graphically than the sequels or it just me?

People asking this all the time monkey pawed a pajeet made one into existence.

It has better art direction and the filters aren't as obnoxious as the sequels. Not, it isn't just you.

Replayed this game like a month ago and had a great time, beautiful atmosphere, beatiful soundtrack, great story. Gameplay lacks sometimes with the shitty camera fucks you over or combat and movement aged like milk. Otherwise amazing game

user...

I was absolutely clueless until now that you were able to dodge those sweeper sword attacks just by jumping

Yes. The sequels do not.

is it?

Games i can remember it happening off the top of my head:

Arkham Asylum (does it happen in the sequels?)
Resident Evil 6
Ninja Gaiden Razor's Edge

Sure there's more. If you are talking costume changes then there's definitely more.

It has way better art direction.

Man, I remember buying game magazines as a kid and one of them had a DVD with an interview with one of the developers. He adressed exactly what your post is about and said they were inspired by DIE HARD where Bruce Willis loses more and more of his clothes as the film progresses I will never forget this thank you again for reminding me.

I really though the dahaka was going to be the future prince trying to stop himself since the tone of the game was edgier than the first

Hopefully never.

France is on another league.

i liked the second game more, the combat in sot felt underwhelming
ww's biggest issue is that it's a bug ridden mess and it proves that ubisoft was never able to write proper code

I just wish for a new game that doesn't ape sands of time AGAIN

Attached: post and the forgotten pic.jpg (937x623, 217.64K)

the platforming sequences are really linear and the combat is a bit rough, but the environments are very pretty, the story is cute and like portal or ace combat a huge part of the appeal is characters periodically talking over the gameplay.

This game sucks dick, combat is fucking terrible. Nostalgia retards.

No you suck dick game is awesome played the trilogy first time this January Really good games

We're doing the needful, sir

I have never played PoP games, should I Yea Forums?

I remember showing this scene it to my dad when i first played it on PS2 kek

bite a bullet zoomer

It was pretty good. As someone that played the old ones i really felt this game made those justice when it translated the genre to 3D. Plus the time mechanic was lit and the story was pretty cool.

If you feel like it. They're not GOTYAY 11/10 MUST PLAY vidya, but they're fun and soulful

At least play the '89 original. It's fucking fantastic.

The Sands of Time trilogy is also pretty good, if a little dated by today's standards.

What and oddly convenient timing.
Which ones should I buy? Which ones should I skip?

Does anyone even remember Forgotten Sands?
