Bruh...

It's a nice photo of a city at night. Just because you're mentally retarded and underage, faggot, does not mean this is irrelevant to the topic at hand. Kill yourself.

I'm commander Shepard and this is my favorite city in vidya.

Can't decide, but these three are definitely my favorites.

whatever the city in scarlet nexus was called. not very interactive but I like the look

The city from Mirrors Edge.

Was going to post this. The Citadel is great especially in ME:1. Different districts have their own unique feel, music is comfy, just a nice environment to explore overall.

Honestly old Bioware did a lot of great cities. Taris, Dantooine, Manaan and Tatooine in KoTOR all had settlements that I just really enjoyed being in, even when I wasn't doing anything. Just something about the music, the ambience of being in them was great. They felt alive even when the NPC's didn't really do much.

I know you said "game" and SC is pretty much just a techdemo but I do think some those cities look nice.

that pic what gaem?

Citadel and Illium are the best locations they've ever made desu. Not everyone may agree, but I love the aesthetics of both.

It's a tossup between Archolos and Unity Paris.

I like to stand still and background audio, the wind, traffic and the air conditioner hums and look out at the city that's magnitudes larger than the tiny fraction you play on
Mirror's Edge did it so well without doing anything spectacular or flashy

unity had no right to look as good as it did. shame the port was so bad it fucked the game up for most people

Alexandria in assassins creed origins

Night city from cyberpunk 2077, its that game's redeeming strength.
when the story doesnt do it for you
when the RPG mechanics are shallow
when the gunplay is lacking
its still nice to be in that city. if only the driving was better

The background noise always stood out to me too. It had such a cool atmosphere and I loved the use of the bright colours against the white backdrops.

Racoon City

Did Ubisoft at least partially fix it? I want to play it on PC but I'm a bit hesitant.

if you have a fairly modern PC you should be fine. it does have some bugs tho

Guess I'll give it a go then

Haran from Dying Light was great.

> That trial
> Those underwater segments

say what you want about Ubisoft churning out these games, they do a good job with the worlds

I absolutely loved the discovery tour modes in the newer games, it added so much to these worlds they re-created

Stormwind, duh

Omikron.

It was never broken, it was just the poorfags complaining. I upgraded just before the game came out and had no problems on launch

Geocity from broken reality was a fun level, I really like weird oppressive spaces and that game worked in that regard but the enidng level was annoying. Also Dalaran and Shattrath CIty from WoW, love those two places. Spent a lot of time in both of them. Thunder Bluff is a close contender, but hardly feels like a city.

Attached: geocity.jpg (1280x720, 276.05K)

For 2D it's Baldur's Gate and 3D is probably Yharnam. I loved the first part of Bloodborne, rest of it was kinda boring in comparsion.

Or they did until Valhalla. That one was just random medieval crap thrown together because they thought it looked cool

Cheat answer would be Town On Gorkhon from Pathologic 2. Because it's my favorite mainly due to the entire fucking experience of the game, rather than due to specific nature of the architecture or anything. P1/2 are just the two most immersive games I've ever played, so naturally, my feelings towards it's settings are the stongers.

A non-cheat answer is that I'm pretty much torn between Korinis from Gothic 2, Vizima from The Witcher 1, and Night City from CP77.

LA from VtMB. Somebody post that LA shot. You know what I'm talking about.

Oh hey, beat me to it. Yeah, the devs did a great job at making the city feel like it's lived in and stretching far beyond the playable areas

Attached: 20210426202443_1.jpg (1920x1200, 181.87K)

What game is it from? Infra? I have that installed but yet to play it.

Was just about to post this.

The worlds are the easiest parts of the game to make funnily enough

Yep. Getting through/under the city makes up most of the mid-game

You dumb fucking moron, nobody gives a shit about chinkville, if you want people to do a thread, then post the thing you want the thread to be about. Motherfucking calling others mentally retarded but can't even do the one thing he sets out to do.

Pretty sure in the game it's called Stalburg, Stahlberg is a real city on which the fictional Stalburg was based.
But yes, INFRA. It's an interesting game. Not for everyone, but it's certainly someones absolute passion project.

Based as fuck.

Are these actually worth playing?
Word when they came out was, that they're terribly mediocre.

Haven't seen this pic in like a decade. Was my wallpaper for a very long time, thanks.

Nightcity is great visually but low traffic density is really off-putting

Midgar… home.

Absolute patrician taste, just so you know

Attached: file.png (578x198, 38.61K)

I agree, but what're ya gonna do

Attached: 1620159929164.jpg (3840x2160, 2.77M)

Oh yeah, that's a great one. I love the pre-apocalyptic, gothic feeling of that one.

I hate the palm trees everywhere. But yeah it's pretty alright, would prefer if it had more verticality but that's a personal preference thing.

If the game is just about exploring a well realized urban environment and inferring the story though that, I am all for it.

Attached: 1626192331024.jpg (3840x2160, 3.61M)

I love the aesthetic of Mirror's Edge but was very disappointed when I bought Catalyst (only spent $5 so whatever) and learned that you can't explore the street level. Really broke the immersion for me and reminded me of the first Spider-Man movie game.

Still hoping they take another crack at Mirror's Edge despite the sequel being a commercial flop.

Not sure if this is what you mean but I like this shot of LA

Attached: 1620392660061.jpg (3840x2160, 3.69M)

It's mostly exploring industrial infrastructure specifically, and it a decent set of puzzles to solve. But yeah, given it's insane lenght, ultimately most of it just exploring the underbelly of the city and piecing together a story from smaller details.
The story is unfortunately pretty shit, but man the environments are really fucking neat.

Attached: 1644976873383.jpg (3840x2160, 2.4M)

Stop spamming this fucking place already. We get it, you like the city.
Literally soulless.

>waaah I don't like it don't post what I don't like!
Jesus you're a fucking sook

Yikes buddy. I know CP2077 sucked but get over it

>less than 10 cars on screen
damn

>Literally soulless.
yea i dont get what people see in places like that. its just the same motif over and over again.
i guess its all bladerunner nostalgia or something. even though night city looks like garbage in comparison

Yes this.
