Trans men have in fact been made to compete with women and actual women have been to compete with men due to their freakishly high (albeit natural) testosterone levels. Trans people however are not one organized entity. They are at foremost individuals, with common interests but differing agendas. Even when they do attempt to come together as a community or as actual organizations with an actual common agenda they are very small and lack any actual power, legislative or otherwise. Even of they wanted to create a league of their own, it would likely be completely impossible to do so, since they clearly lack the means.

I imagine you are thinking something like “well then, why should the rest of society do anything about this?” and in a way you are right. Society doesn’t need to do much of anything as a whole. The government and sports organizations do. Any country with a ministry dedicated to sports or even general health is responsible for ensuring all of its population can freely access the practice of sports, be it in a competitive setting or otherwise. This presents another problem with the idea of outright banning trans people from sports, in that the government would likely be liable to be sued by any aggravated party.

Thus, it is not upon trans people that the responsibility of forming a league os their own rests upon, but upon the government. And in case they cannot do it, they still would have to guarantee that trans people can still compete in sports.
