It has Netorare (preferably with fat ugly bastards or black foreigners)

The black girls are actually attractive

Seriously why cant americans just put attractive black women in media I really dont get it, it's the one thing where they purposely choose the most ugly ones possible. Bonus points if they're obese

its fun

the game features teenage schoolgirls with huge tits

it's good

it's not trying to spite its fanbase

They speak Japanese

Main objective is to kill a GOD

Good gameplay, cute/cool characters, good music. Basically the exact opposite of any western game.

Stamp of quality for most things, really

>It can't be helped...

>boring gameplay
>predictable story that was copy pasted from its genre's template
>awful humor
>childish art

why are you describing american games t

It's fun

14 yo protagonist, always dressed in school uniform or wearing 3 size bigger fashion jacket and enormous gym shoes.

It's published by a japanese comapany, you fucking faggot.

no no, don't give the "no u" answer, you know what I'm talking about and your incel mind that hates everything that comes from the west won't magically warp reality

Belts. A LOT OF BELTS

>hates everything that comes from the west
i only hate america, i love europe bro

they dont say the word "fuck", or the threshold of crassness in dialogue is rather tame.
unfortunately it seems to be slowly becoming a thing of the past with how certain things get localized now.

It's a good game
Seriously Japan has been entirely carrying the industry
The only good western dev studio left is iD software

It's kino

What kind of Japanese games do you see having boring gameplay? Because what the west pumps out is infinitely more boring. It's just either sports, shooters, or strategy games that all have the same realistic aesthetic.

Because Japanese speech is inherently polite.

i dont take issue with it, if it felt that was being implied. i actually rather lament how english localizations cause dialogue to turn ruder or use profanity as sentence fillers while other language options are not nearly as vulgar in wording.

OP meant signs exclusive to japan. is shit writing exclusive to japan?

Resident Evil 3 remake would like to have a word with you.

It's good

kek, as would any M-rated release from Capcom since RE7. I'm well aware, and not entirely impressed seeing as other subtitle languages show that its the english version giving things the MangaStream treatment.

it has SOUL

The developer never gets outed for sexual misconduct

>utter kino
>weird anime characters (spikey neon color hair)
>waifus are trad
>great music
nips do a lot of things well and vidya is one of them

The problem is that there's no one true perfect translation. Either it comes off as ruder to fit your preferences as someone who wants to feel the dialogue grittier, or it stays true to the source material which is (unfortunately in your case) standard Japanese, a notch politer than most countries' standard conversational dialogue.

The plot starts out great but goes to absolute shit by the end complete with an incredibly predictable twist

Leave Ethan out of this
His dialogue is pure b-movie kino

dialogue is facilitated through cut-in portrait art that is hand-drawn and changes expressions or poses as the conversation moves along (seriously what is this called, I feel like it's ONLY japanese games that do this)

Choices don't matter.

very true. i dont have a universal hateboner for this particular problem, but my displeasure does flare up when it concerns characters and or franchises that arent known for containing particularly strong language at every turn. Its why I wont really bat an eyelash at the times Bayonetta 1's english script drops the word -- as an example -- but be unimpressed with how DMC5 or R3make handle it. There's an aspect of consistency with how things were handled in regards to the translation that is now jettisoned.

It's a third person action game that actually feels good to play.

Those aren't even that bad. Look at some of Nomuras designs like Lulu from FFX or that faggot in pic related.

It releases in time for me to play and appreciate it before it gets translated for English-speaking peasants and all discourse about it is ruined.

>game jumpscares you when you launch it

If it feels like it's talking down to its audience that it barely understands, and they blame (You) for it. Also sweeping metaphors about how their society encourages immorality by obsessing over rules to the extent that it implies things not explicitly forbidden are permissible. If it holds a grudge against westerners for actually having souls. Shallow conceptions of western ideas and ideals. General worship of deviancy purely for its own sake in a strange and almost robotic attempt to spite our witness. If the game promotes vindictive ideals against the idea of a benevolent creator. These are all beep boopisms. I honestly don't think the soulslike games are effective at catching the real ones

When I mention RE7 in that post, I actually think more about my time with the Clancy tapes and me switching audio languages to see if the reporter's lines were of the same attribute as they were in English. They aren't. I can't really attack RE7 for that though, because the first time I've been taken aback by this was actually hearing Moira in Revelations 2, especially in contrast to Claire.

To be clear to anyone following my autism about this -- I'm not necessarily saying that character cannot swear in a Japanese game like how they would in a Western one, but rather when a compromise in consistency to other localized entries are made to do so in a franchise that is hardly ever vulgar -- if at all -- is where I take issue. FF7R, while nowhere near as bad, has a similar issue.

The minorities are based

It says the developing company is based in Japan in the credits.

it's good

???
what?

It understands my very specific fetish for spanish guitar, fighter jets, and buddies.

I sort of get where you're coming from here. I don't play English localizations anymore but I can very easily imagine how different the tone is between Japanese and English when it comes to the vocabulary being used. Very few words independent of context evoke the same visceral reaction in Japanese that something like "fuck" or "shit" does in English, so naturally your interpretation of the character will change if you're well versed in both languages. I've had this happen to me replaying childhood games in Japanese.

It actually has gameplay systems that were thought out mechanically instead of being some kind of simulation of something "real."

this

>NO! Stop sexualize Video Games!!!!

>Do not slut shame hoe and """""""sexual"""""" """""""workers""""""""
>Constant freely access to all kind of pornography

The settings menu is called "Option"

Are they black or just gyaru?

weird serif fonts and gradijdents in the UI

It lacks any form of subtlety and has a terrible PC port.

No realism whatsoever. And I'm not hating on Japanese games for this at all. I like it.
