Why would the creator of the internet be saying this?
Hmmmm you better be keeping those physical copies safe and in a faraday cage...
Lol! @ online "collections"...

You will need your ID to access to the internet in the future, future looks beyond my comprehension
its not like it was never gonna happen, considering normie fucks being addicted to the internet the way they are
The emp device countdown has begun. Hold on to your butts.
>>Lol! @ online "collections"...
Mine is offline, I have more books than most national libraries.
I'll just pirate it
Academical books are too expensive. I'm not going to spend 300 bucks on a copy of Japonius Tyrannus. Not that someone has pirated that book but still.
>Thinking hard drives are books
Books are going to survive, hard drives and the internet are going to be gone any day now.
YOU
WILL
OWN
NOTHING
:happy::happy::happy:
1984 is happening right now
if something were to happen that would require hard copy collection of books, reading would be the least of your worries but okay
There is no such thing as a global EMP attack, I live a great distance from any major population center that could be a target even in some retarded and unrealistic all-out scenario. I'll be fine, sucks to be you if you live in NY or some faggot central like that.
Even if something like a Carrington event would repeat, that would of course hit the asian side of the globe because god wills it.
Can anybody explain what's happening? Is it war?
he's saying it because republicans are trying to ban any books they don't like, soon the only book you can read will be the bible
>There is no such thing as a global EMP attack
Lol
It can even happen on accident or just naturally.
Level 5 sunflare is instant wipeout of all electronics on earth.
There was a level 4 just last week, and they are getting more and more frequent.
Tick tock digital-onlys, tick tock.
Lol.
Wrong party buddy.
>schizo having a meltdown on twitter
>Yea Forums shitposts about it
shocking
>Both the internet and also the public library system are going to be simultaneously destroyed
I would believe one or the other but this is just retarded. In such a scenario I don't know what's happened but I expect my private collection of novels is going to be low on my priority list.
Don't you just need to make a faraday cage for that?
>594990549
>has nothing to do with anything
take your fucking meds you fatherless retard
Kek this is fucking hilarious. Literally did it to themselves. Give a nigger an inch and they’ll take a mile.
Just not true.
Books don't need.
>Day 1 updates.
>3-9 patches to reach their potential.
>1-4 pieces of online only DLC to complete their content run.
>Connection to service to use features.
Buying physical games after 2003 is a hilarious delusion that physical retards cling to.
Also, video games =/= e-books. This literally who that "invented the internet" but has a high schoolers understanding of equivalence might be as stupid as the "physical games are superior" smoothbrains.
>Level 5 sunflare is instant wipeout of all electronics on earth.
Rofl, way to be a retard. Tell me how exactly would it affect the side of Earth away from the Sun? I guess the magical powers of the sun just penetrate through the entire globe?
basically this
he realised jonathan blow (creator of Braid and The Witness) was right

>Talking about the collapse of society.
>In Moscow.
This. Novels would be low on my priority list if the internet got nuked and basic infrastructure became a commodity. This is also assuming my E-Reader, Computer, and NAS storage become deleted by EMP/solar flare, in which case, I'm way too fucked to be worried about my entertainment.
Russia has retrieved miles of northern internet cable connecting to Norway.
They have been isolating their internet and prepared all outwards connections of their network and grid to be disconnected physically on a moment's notice.
This is the never before seen military action Putin has been threatening, a new kind of warfare, it will be information based, combination of floods of military grade malware and emp pulses in key locations.
Global internet will not be around for much longer.
And with it goes the banking systems, with no access to their money or trading the western economy and societies will collapse within 2 days. No nukes needed.
Good bey
Only idiots read books.
>hard drives and the internet are going to be gone any day now.
kek
If the internet and hard drives all disappear, you'll have a lot more to worry about than books and videogames... like trying to stay alive amidst starvation for one.
>he didn't read the odyssey dlc
You did not finish the book.
Based
I'm ready for a reset
damn love this sourceless quote.
Russians can't do shit, they are weak losers who think they're tougher than they really are. In reality they are complete has beens and they are barely a regional power, let alone a global power comparable to the US.
What are some good book recommendations?
YOU WILL READ THE BOOKS
>tweets like a dozen times a day making the same "le current thing" joke that Musk makes all the time now in between general Peter Thiel praise and San Francisco bashing
He's literally the same person as Musk.
Tremendously stupid opinion
>buy
I have a better idea
Seeing the sheer quantity of people that think copying whatever the latest thing Musk did will make them successful is pretty fucking funny.
Unironically the NPC meme.
>t. niggers
lol
Reading is for nerds though
>game of thrones TV show got popular
>tried to watch an episode but wasn't interesting
>play elding
>wtf i love tolkien now?
>buy the first book
very good reading, will buy the two sequels next
This. It's like videogames or tranime.
revisions of books actually do exist and are fairly common.
and they are never free.
>Books don't need.
>Day 1 updates.
Actually, they do. There is just no way to distribute any updates.
Books are full of old and outdated information. Some even at the moment of they are printed.
It's not a complete reset, Russia and China will still be around fully intact.
>control 99% of the industry
>mad that 1% excludes you
This is why I go to the library and check out all the books I want. Then I go to the local university library and with my old student ID that should've expired (students get free prints) I make physical copies. Stuff the copies into plastic sheaths, print some cool fanmade art for the cover and wrap it up.
Of course I also buy books that I like for my shelves and collection, but this way I get to help a local library while fucking over the university and I have a reason to look up fanart of certain books. It's fun.
As long as the US resets, I'm fine with it
you forgot server handshake verification before system initialization
what video game is this
I wouldn't know what to do. Just die, I guess? If the internet disappeared I probably wouldn't be too sad but electricity? I'm dead.
God yes please
Kek, attacks like that would instantly trigger Nato's article 5 and they would both get pounded to stone age (not that China would ever even bother assisting, they're content to watch as Russia makes its final mistake). Russians are fucking SHIT in every meaning of the word, they can't even beat Ukraine and this retard thinks they can take on the entire Nato, HAHAHAHAH!
Face it Ivan, your shithole of a country is done - Russia will become weaker and weaker as all facets of its being inevitably decay to such a degree that it will make the 90s look like a paradise in comparison. All the smart russians will become brain drain to functioning western countries and then China eats you up piece by piece.
does it apply to video games?
the bible and moby dick!
Are you actually under the impression that an EMP would cause electricity as a whole to cease to exist?
>physical copies safe and in a faraday cage...
books dont need a faraday cage, they need to be kept water and fireproof
goddam zoomers don't know how physics work
Nah. Of course not. Videogames are not books.
The one which you bought yet do not own.
concerned parents are removing fag enabling books from school libraries
that's all i know about very recently
both sides will do this anyway but somehow i think republicans or conservatives in general are less likely to do it in consideration for what's going on right now
