I would agree if ER wasn't the easiest souls game to get into and had a crumb of difficulty. People who are inexperienced with souls will use ashes, summons, etc. and blast through the experience. These people praise the game even more than people used to souls as this is their first true exposure to the formula they can digest and enjoy and everyone loves their first souls game.

That's not how it works at all. Plenty of reviews had journalists saying they usually dislike souls or couldn't get into it before, but can with er.
