Moonveil

Guts Sword then respec into Dark Moon Greatsword for 1st playthrough. Going to go short spear, into pike(maybe some other spears), final into Bolt of Greatsex for my current

The one I've used the most is the starter estoc for prisoner. I've also been using the Nox Flowing Sword, Bastard's Stars and Sword of Milos.

Godslayer greatsword. Pressing a button 2 times an doing 2500-3000 dmg with insane hyperarmor is so satisfying. Plus, it looks cool and, despite being a colossal sword, is as quick as a greatsword.

godskin stitcher
it is the best weapon in the game

I'm a samurai, this is my sword, there's many like it but this one is mine, show the strength of my blade I will and vanquish my enemies with it's great range.

used it since i got it. the ash is pretty hard to use without getting wrecked but it's nice on big mobs once they get stance broken

Ruins Greatsword

the weapon art is just too fun and insta kills entire groups of annoying enemies. easily my most favorite weapon. plus something about massive stone swords is so fucking cool, i loved the dragon greatsword in ds1, fugs and king's greatsword in ds2, and fugs again in ds3.

Why is it so fast?

No point in using it since the Blasphemous Blade exists, but its AoW is cooler.
Also Malekith's Black Blade right a t the end of the game

By the end I was switching between greatshield and BHF in the left hand, but this nigga never left my side.

How is that Axe?
It looks pretty cool
I am completely addicted to Great Stars
I swear this thing is one of the best maces, if not one of the best regular weapons in the game

Attached: great_stars_warhammer_weapon_elden_ring_wiki_guide_200px.png (200x200, 10.1K)

I did switch to the Plelate hammer late game because funny shovel meme but for most of the game was me and this axe.

you didnt BEAT the game

mah nigga, i dual'd these for almost the entire game, started as samurai and used the katana when the reach was more valuable.

>the two-step r2 that catches people off guard every time
based
>can follow that up with another two-step r2 if you charge it enough
based

I used the greatsword from the first encampment where you lvl up the first time and then got the golden halberd and upgraded it to +4. Its been chopping things like butter for the last 20-30 hours. Game almost feels too easy I'm a bit confused but I'm told it gets harder.

long range flippy R2 and a super high base damage that makes any ash of war shred

Attached: giant crusher.png (1024x1024, 831.14K)

the other lesser appreciated magic katana that has chad ichimonji. I had moonveil an upgrade level lower for a while but never even used weapon arts because I expected them to be mediocre based on my experience with DS3

Maybe I didn't beat the game but I sure am beating in the skulls of anyone that stands in my way.

>Using Bloody Helice and Reduvia as a fai/arc blood dragon
>Invading for a bit
>Eveyrone and their mother is the same fucking thing
I don't want to be contrarian but... are death hexes fun?

I tried experimenting with other weapons but I ended up upgrading this
I would really need some long range alternative for certain enemies though

My baby. Plain Jane. Thin in the right places, thick in the right places. A girl just my type. Just for me.

Midgame is the easiest because you've powered up but the enemies haven't. Just wait til you get past the capital.

I'm starting to like the R2. The AoW can absolutely FUCK if you get the right factors.

i get more variety at level 40 +3 stormveil invasions than i do at level 80-125, +18-25. high levels are gay

Misbegotten shortbow.

wtf where's the pic

Meteorite Staff, only switched to the Azur one late game for style, didn't check if it was better.

I'm only level 70.
I mean it's not that bad, I still see some different weapons and shit. I just didn't expect people going arc to also go dragon.
I have yet to see anyone using any spells except dragon, glintstone and gravity, occasionally lightning.

Anyone try a Bow and Dagger build? Maybe not just dagger, but one handed with no dual wield.

I'm on vacation and been thinking about other forms of suffering I can take for this game

I'm currently playing with shortbow as my main weapon and a hand axe as my backup. It's not exactly strong but its alot of fun.

I love this lass like you wouldn’t believe

Banished knight great sword. It has a wicked moveset and doesn't look terribly fancy, which I like.

This bad boy turned Radagon, Malenia and Mohg to ashes in no time. The magma lunge is fucking if you get the initial hit + the follow-up and a few ticks of fire damage on the target, can blow up some foes just like that.

It's old already.

Bros I'm level 95 and progressing through the Altus plateau, how overleveled am I ?
I didn't farm at all, just did as much content as I could in the three regions and also completed Ranni's quest (while being severely underleveled for that one I think)

Got this pretty early in the game and used it until the end.

What weapon art/armor do you use? I figure mobility is gonna be important so nothing higher than 'medium tier' armor. Quick step/bloodhound almost seems a must but I just suck at the game desu

Twinned Knight Swords
>strength scaling
>speed
>accessible from begining of the game

Based Boltchad

Brick Hammer as it is an early game weapon with great scaling and no dex required. I eventually upgraded, but this beauty got me through most of the game.

Too bad the special is hot ass.

I'm wearing highwayman armor and for my axe switch between war cry and quickstep every now and then. But the axe is mainly for dark areas and when i'm farming materials for arrow crafting or when i'm low on ammo. Fighting with a shortbow is generally very mobile. most of your shots will be roll shots and jump shots.
You deffinitely want light armor and high endurance. This type of playing eats alot of stamina.

Winged scythe. The skill hits tons of enemies, staggers well, and does pretty good damage

At least it's still useful for things that are completely immune to fire.

I feel like a faggot using Rykard's blade, but holy shit its soooo gud.
>shreds mobs
>knocks every human sized enemy on their ass even bosses
>lifesteal
>combo it with buffs and one special attack can melt half a boss bar

I was told about this weapon beforehand but was under the impression you got it AFTER beating Maliketh
my disappointment then was nothing compared to finding out it doesn't even scale with FAI

I'm about to start again as a paladin and am considering the humble Claymore for my partner.

I just discovered dual flame art erdsteel daggers. Golden vow, flame grant me strength, rotten winged sword insignia, flame scorpion charm and you get almost 1k AR on both. It's like the saint's bident in DS3 where it keeps the physical damage scaling from faith after being infused so you end up with 510ish AR at 60 faith with very low requirements so you can just pump faith even more. And you can put ashes on it.

big shield

What's the best weapon to dual wield with the blasphemous blade? There's ordovis, the Gargoyle sword, golden epitaph... Are there other good holy faith greatsword options?

why would it scale with faith, dragon magic is arcane

the twinned greatsword has the best damage out of the faith greatswords, or you could faith scale your favorite neutral greatsword. The golden order greatsword is also really cool

dual flail build can be just as bleedy as 2 katanas but also brings the stagger like you wouldn't believe

Attached: nightrider flail.jpg (288x681, 40.92K)

How's the flamberge? I'm not really interested in bleed but it's definitely the best looking non-somber greatsword.
