Age of the stars ending is the most chosen ending

>age of the stars ending is the most chosen ending
How? Do you seriously expect me to believe all these people just happened to find Ranni's quest and all the random steps you need to finish it?

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 103.08K)

I did. It's not hard to find and basically tells you where to go every step of the way from early on.

it's not random at all

wikis exist

It's extremely easy to end up doing if you do any amount of exploring

Ranni is the easiest ending imo.
I looked everywhere for that 3 fingers faggot while i was playing blind.
Same with Fia. I just randomly stumbled on her when i was exploring and beat her dream dragon.

Ranni’s quest is the easiest fromsoft quest to date. The only non instructed part is when you have to go to Renna’s rise, but considering it’s right next Ranni’s, it’s not that hard to find. I did it all on my own.
This isn’t even counting all the people that play this game with the wiki open though.

yeah cause they read item descriptions and listened to NPCs

reminder if you couldn't figure out where the meteor landed when your character is facing it after he gets out of the cutscene you might be retarded.

i guess i don't know how it occurred to me to revisit Ranni's rise after visiting Nokron only to be told i wasn't destined to open the chest down below yet, but i was quite thorough in my first playthrough. only step i missed was the drop down in the cathedral lol, ended up with the regular ending as a result.

People are hearing that's the waifu ending, so they're looking up how to get it and deliberately seeking it out.

Rannis is the best-signposted quest in the game. In fact if you explore Stormveil castle thoroughly enough to get sent on a sleuthing mission, the game has a clear linear plot from the beginning to the end that revolves around Ranni. which is a refreshing change from most people's experience with the plot in the Dark Souls games.

>Age of Stars = Thinking with your dick, low effort, different ending cutscene because retards require CG3D hollywood movie shit
>Age of Order = Thinking with your brain, high effort, similar cutscene to others to establish narrative harmony and make the game ending as kino as possible

I hate how many simps there are in gaming, y'all hate women until the moment one treats you well and all of the sudden you let her walk all over you.

I love my wife Ranni!

Fuck you. I thought it landed on the fucking giant erdtree they showed me on the cutscene. And that's why I went to the capital. How was I supposed to know it was in the middle of fucking nowhere in the forest?

I looked it up and still enjoyed the game. Does that upset you?

The only step that isn't intuitive is knowing when Renna's Rise opens up, though Iji actually hints to it if you talk to him at that stage. The rest is mostly just exploring the areas that the quest unlocks. I suppose figuring out where exactly the star lands to get into Norkon isn't immediately obvious, but it's not exactly hard to notice if you go anywhere near the area.

>Standing at the highest point in Radahn's area
>Star comes down very far away in the direction of the Erdtree
>The Erdtree and the Caelid minor Erdtree are to the north or Radahn's area
It's simple trigonometry really.

Damn, mini Ranni has a thicc ass in that last panel.

She’s easy to find and literally everyone playing wants Blaidd’s armor even if they end up not wearing it

Maybe you should treat me better then you fucking bitch

Until the main demographic of escapist media isn't lonely losers (so never), you should accept that gamers are mostly simps. There's no practical way around that.

Retard I'm a bigger incel than you, I'm just pointing out the heaping contradiciton of gamers

It's one of the most straight forward quests From has done so I'm not surprised. You also get locked into the ending by just glancing at her summon sign so people probably did it by accident too.

Tell me more about these gamers and their beliefs.

You didn't beat the game.

Erdtree, Oh Erdtree

>Merchant Kale, who resides in the church that's DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF YOU as you first enter Limgrave, tells you about Blaidd and where he is
>Find and talk to Blaidd and he directs you to Iji
>Talk to Iji and he directs you to the Carian manor
>Explore the manor to meet Ranni
>Blaidd and Iji tell you Blaidd's going to the Siofra River from the well in the Mistwood
>Meet Blaidd and after talking to Seluvis you learn you need to defeat Radahn to unlock the path to Nokron
>Gideon tells you Radahn is in the far East
>A star falls, Iji tells you to descend to Nokron from Limgrave
>Go to Limgrave, see the giant rubble floating in the air
>Investigate it to find Nokron and the Fingerslayer Blade
>Give the Fingerslayer Blade to Ranni, she disappears
>Talk to Iji, he says she left through Renna's Rise
>Go through Renna's Rise to reach the Ainsel River Main
>In front of you is a coffin containing the Miniature Ranni
>Sit down at a site of grace to see "Talk to Ranni" is a new option available
>She tells you to kill the Baleful Shadow nearby
>Explore around to find the Lake of Rot, and the Baleful Shadow before it
>Ranni gives you a key to unlock a treasure in the Raya Lucaria library, go there to get the full moon ring
>Go back and explore the Lake of Rot to find Astel and an elevator to the Moonlit Altar
>Explore the altar to find a passage leading down to where Ranni is
>Quest complete

There's almost zero ambiguity at all to anything in it. It's extremely straightforward.

Mountain dew is their holy water and Doritos their nourishment

I used a guide to do all the quests :)

>go kill last bosses
>have a great time
>prompted to put head back on a statue
>cuts to me sitting in a chair
>credits roll

>Talk to Iji and he directs you to the Carian manor

No he specifically tells you to avoid the Carian manor.

Seethe.
I WILL fight and kill all the bosses just so I can kneel to Ranni and give her everything in the end. You can't stop me.

Ranni's quest is the most straightforward of them all. The only difficulty you might possibly face is not finding Nokron and/or the dagger right away, other than that, she's always where you'd expect her to be and her quest essentially just leads you toward its completion on it's own with the teleports and shit.
Also having her summon sign right before the other ending choices confuses a lot of people, or at least I know of a friend who bitched about picking her ending because he didn't realize summoning her would end the game.

>random steps
brainlet detected

I just wanted the Snow Witch outfit for my NG+ run as a wizard. Also I plan to do all the endings, Age of Stars just happened to be the first.

I can though, watch your window

>introduce a character called "Renna"
>she disappears after the first six hours
>later a similar looking character called "Ranni" shows up
bravo Miziyaki

Yeah "avoid" the Carian manor.

That's what I said.

It's the only quest that actually has any direction or logic to it. The main quest is literally "go kill stuff i dunno". Ranni's quest at least has some plot and intrigue. Most casuls probably run around aimlessly until they finally find a blue doll that actually gives them a specific quest and they go from there.

To be fair this is just the retarded naming sense in this game
I thought that Melina is Malenia for like half the game because she just fucked off after her initial introductions and I couldn't really remember her name.

Welcome to Fromsoftware endings.

kek, this but with Godwyn and Godfrey. I realized they were different people when Godfrey was suddenly alive at the end

My friend who hates souls games finished the ranni quest all on his own without a wiki

It doesn't really help that there's a Godefroy who is a carbon copy of Godrick. This shit trips me up every time.

why does Yea Forums keep pretending like the ranni quest is incredibly difficult and confusing to figure out?

You're underestimating the will of men to end up with their waifus. Where there's a will, there's a way.

>Sit down at a site of grace to see "Talk to Ranni" is a new option available
Most difficult part for me. Honestly I missed this part and had to look it up because I only ever rest at graces to level up. The option to talk to her only shows up at the grace where you pick her up so I never saw the option.

It is actually easier to get than the Age of Order, Age of Shiteaters, or Frenzy Flame endings.

You pretty much never have to find an NPC standing in a totally random place for Ranni's ending. It's all signposted out.

Fia's and Ranni's is easy quest. Frenzied flame can be missed but it's also easy to get.

you don't even need hyetta for the frenzied flame i think. so it's literally just about finding the hidden wall

Her quest is probably the easiest to follow, they tell you where to go in every step. Quests like Goldmask or Fia don't tell you shit.

Fictional vs real woman
Why are you even surprised?

I just searched online for the moonlight sword location like in every FROM game and i was in the middle of her quest without realizing so...

From made a good quest for once in their lives of course it was gonna be popular. Plus Ranni a cute. The only part i can see fucking people up is having to talk to tiny ranni 3 times before she tells you about the baleful shadows.

>age of the stars ending is the most chosen ending
>How?

1/3rd of all human males between 24 and 46 have been single since they were 18 and/or forever
It's the only ending that let's you both "save" and marry an imaginary girl that gives so little detail that the incel can easily fill in the gaps
Also she is still pretty but her features are clearly damaged/imperfect

Really we should be surprised the numbers are not higher for that ending

Attached: 1634343377419.jpg (600x375, 25.94K)

it's the only one that gives you clear instructions and it has an ok waifu

Counterpoint: it's just the first fucking ending you will get to interact with if you cleared her quest
Never underestimate normalfags, if someone shows up as the first option out of X, they will always pick it

Miquellallies, we were robbed....

Dlc bait

I did, but I almost missed it because the first time I went to her place after beating Loretta there wasn't nobody around and so I simply dismissed it as another area with closed off towers.
At some point much later on (I don't remember when) I went to check the place again and Ranni was actually there so things started rolling...until she and the other guys told me to go down and take something from one of the underground cities.
I had no idea how the hell I could do that since I already had explored the two underground areas, but then while checking the first game's area for clues or something I noticed the hole caused by the meteorite they were talking about.
The rest was more or less easy, however it took me a good amount of time to proceed from taking care or Blaidd to traversing the rot, getting in the coffin and finally arriving on top of that damn hill where the quest ends.

All things considered, Bro's and Mask's ending sounds way more obscure to me.

>random steps
Ranni's quest is easily the most well designed and intuitive in Elden Ring. You listen to NPCs talking and explore even a little bit and you'll find all the steps.
Hell, there are even graces that point to the Three Sisters, how could you possibly miss it?

Post the percentage of player who finished the game and you will understand

>he thinks FOMO faggot zoomers can play games blind

Attached: 1629769839400.jpg (750x563, 276.97K)

I'm at mt. gelmer and I've never run into tranni outside of rennala's fight

>There's almost zero ambiguity
I spent HOURS in the Siofra River looking for Blaidd because he said he'd be there.

he is there

he is there, it's just in an out of the way spot

Does he tell you that what you actually should be doing is going to fight Radahn instead of looking for a way to Nokron in Siofra?

YDBTG

I wish Miquella's ending had made it in. Fuck the gods and their bullshit.

he tells you to speak to seluvis, which leads you to sellen, which leads you back to blaidd, which leads you to radahn

i got all three trophy endings with one save game.

Nah, he says the city can't be reached and to talk to Seluvis, who will give you a letter of recommendation to Sellen. Sellen tells you that Radahn holds the stars back and Ranni's fate is tied to the stars, meaning she can't follow her destiny as long as he lives.
Once again, no ambiguity. You just have to listen and follow the steps.

pretty sure one or more of iji/seluvis/sellen tell you

>The only non instructed part is when you have to go to Renna’s rise
You actually is though, if you rest at the site of grace in Ranni's chamber after she leaves the grace points to Renna's rise.

I accidentally did Ranni's quest after being lost on where to go after Renella. I couldn't find the lift to get to the plateau, so I wondered north, and she was the only one telling me what to do so I just followed her
