Usually i cheese with magic flask + scorpion ring and alexander chard, poke them a bit with swift glintstone but not too much so they dont heal then i switch to moonveil and oneshot the rest of their health with the weapon art.

It's been two weeks since i last died to an invader, i have stomped rob faggot after rob faggot with power stance greatswords, i especially love it when i'm fighting a field boss and an invader comes and i stomp his ass and finish the boss.

I get constant connection errors when invading if not i would invade more, anyone know if there's a fix or it's just bad netcode?

The netcode is just pure shit. It's all peer to peer so basically any hiccup in the host or your connection and it shits the bed.

yes. I have a few builds between 60-90 and trying to figure out if I want to try dex or not. I stopped using my bleed build because it's too easy and I'm tired of seeing bleed. Level 60 invasions on a str build are pretty fun though

I have a friend who only likes playing these in Co-op but I kinda dread the open world would make things totally disjointed

Totally doable, just have to do every area basically twice

I've found 2v2 taunter's tongue runs with a friend to be super fun, near constant invasion uptime making the entire area a constant 2v2 skirmish, doing it in haligtree was super fun, I'd recommend trying it if you wanna give your invader bros a good fight.
Unironically placi breath is pretty decent. Crucible tail is also nice if you can cast the first part. Crucible breath allows you to steamroll through people as it hard knockdowns but costs a shitton of fp.
Co-op only is pretty painful because of the open world desu, it feels much better to just run around solo and only co op when you find a dungeon or cave or boss.

I want to do Varre's questline but I've never done invasions before. Where's a good place to do it, where I have a shot of winning but I also won't mess up someone else's game?

I love being summoned to help other players. I wish I could do that in Dark Souls 1, 2 or 3.

You and people like you were never fun to play with. You know that, right? Invading someone's game, an aggressive action, followed by something as passive as hiding? I only understood that against gankers, who deserve less than no respect. The whole idea of cheesing a human being with a greatbow is frustrating to me, even if I'm the guy doing it. There could have been a good fight where people were both equally bloodthirsty. But no, you're okay with a single shot from a mile away and somehow that's as satisfying as two people with Rivers of Blood rolling around shirtless trying their damnest to bleed each other to smithereens. That it's more satisfying than standing over the bodies of two phantoms and slowwalking at the newbie host and then toying with him using R2s and easily dodgeable moves. Balls to the wall aggression that I want to have is never matched with equal aggression, just incredible timidity and passive aggressive people. And you people like that? You even prefer that? I never understood that. I never understood you. I never will, so I just stopped trying to and stopped playing with you people.

500 for thunder, 800 for explosive each

I can't even get through Castle Morneau without a connection error or dead host. I couldn't imagine trying the full game.

As long as you're not below level 30, or above level 80, you'll be fine. That's the best margin for avoiding gank squads and having enjoyable invasions.

Literally every single hunter summon yesterday was to a taunter's tongue afk host hiding in the horse dimension. One of them wasn't even clever enough to google the right spot and was just mimic veiled on a random roof in Liurnia. I tried pointing at him but the invader was too retarded and just kept running around the building until the second even more retarded one showed up and killed me.
