All of you beat the game.
All of you beat the game
I played the entire game as a Strider.
Anyone else have autism about being required to play a hybrid vocation because it's only available to your arisen?
Unless you were a mage using light infused staff light attacks exclusively or used a godfinger arrow.
I didn't even play it user
mystic knight looks the coolest, how good is it?
same but in post game i switched to ranger
Only red vocations beat the game
I didn't because it's fucking shit
Why are we still talking about this game? It's fucking devoid of content and unfinished, forget about it already
...but not you, you can no longer beat the game
It's one of the strongest.
youtube.com
It's cool but but gay because he carries his shield on his back
Unless you do some cheat engine shenanigans that I can't remember anymore
Nobody beat the game as mage.
Don't just whack the magic balls and you will have fun.
Play some fighter/warrior for the augments, not just sorcerer.
I've beaten it more times than Yea Forums has finished games in general.
Whacking the balls IS fun
It's cool but it's not one of the strongest don't listen to the retards.
Please just let me fucking know when the private servers are up. I NEED this shit.
Its annoying because you have to level as a sorcerer just to get stats so you hit at acceptable levels. Leveling as mystic destroys your progression.
It's actually just a better Dragon's Dogma
All of the vocations are improved upon in DDON
But only Warrior has truly beaten it.
I think the best class is Strider->Assassin, then Sorcerer on NG+.
You get to experience all the best the game has to offer, and switching between ranged or climbing depending on the enemy is the funnest thing ever. Styling on smaller mobs is cool too.
Then you go the opposite way with sorcerer and just enjoy the awesome spells the game offers.
>warrior
>hard difficulty
>install the max greatsword mod
>make all gear and perks usable by every class
>get a shield and make it invisible
>remove carry weight
time to beat the game
i remember i played as a loli magic archer
is that a fucking rotary circle
You will play it expecting to be some mighty paladin with an enchanted shield, and after a short honeymoon doing that you'll discover the whole gameplay is actually hitting a orb you place on field with your weapon to deal damage
It's honestly one of worse "why they tought this was a good idea" moments I had in a game
Well actually, if you played Assassin you didn't beat the game.
i wish dragon dogma dropped the open world aspect and instead had you travel on a world map with encounters similar to mount and blade
It's a lot of fun. Magick Cannon is memed because it's so strong but the truth is it's fun to set it up and then launch different elemental bullets based on your enchantments, plus you can place it down close range and mix it up into your regular combos. Also has the cool dark sword skill that turns your mace into a light Saber
>it's so strong
Only if you build magic early. If you play red before swapping it's pretty mediocre in BBI. Don't cope about weapon stats either.
>burnt myself out playing the base game like 4 times
>lost my saves and no longer have the drive to get to DA content
Pain
But I didn't, I never got to Super Daimon or whatever
Just cheese and play your entire new game in BBI. It's not that hard to do, user. A couple cheesed bosses here and there, a difficulty change to reset the play through and get the second moongem so that you can double discipline farm, a massive stack of throwblasts and you'll get to enjoy the peak of DD. I say that as a vanillaKING as well. While I think designing a sequel around BBI is a dire mistake I cannot deny that its execution was amazing. We just need the same detail and love in the sequel emulating vanilla DD. The open world format can and does work, it just needed more time so it could actually get fucking finished instead of being rushed out the door.
just phase with barrels through the moon gem doors instead
>It's fucking devoid of content and unfinished
This doesn't even qualify as bait.
No. It's not that hard to get a gem and I'm not going to start abusing glitches like some scrub. Playing DD is not speed running DD.
Amusing that they added the mode in but it never took off.
>Symone didn't give me the idol
>My save was way too old
I threw her from that castle walls, that little whore
Symone is a real human bean surrounded by servile pieces of shit. Fuck you bro, go fuck a goat.
>see recent DD threads
>dust off my switch and start it up again
>last save was somewhere in the middle of ng+
>start a new game
>make my pawn
>go to inn
>Accessing Server
>suddenly get 600k rift points because the game still tracked my old save's pawn's online activity
Huh!
Assassin has always been my favorite, I let the pawns handle the magic.
>Why yes, I play Assassin with shield and sword, how could you tell?
Fuck...
not a single person has mentioned the ripostes. Those are the best skills the class has and is way more enjoyable than spamming the orb projectiles
Friendly reminder that the best combo is playing Sorcerer and the pawn being a little loli apprentice mage.
Pic unrelated as its not a Sorcerer with his loli apprentice mage.
God I LOVE Dragon's Dogma Online vocations
All of them had their specific weapon and movesets, which meant all skill slots were free too and all Vocations unique
How "online" was Dragons Dogma online really?
And how was the world?
>not sword + bow
standard bow is shit and gay
magic bow is only good bow
esl post
>Trivializing the game with a bow
Not for me, the only ranged weapons allowed are bombs, knives, skulls and throwables
>magic bow is only good bow
As someone whose favorite vocation is ranger, I find this insulting.
Although I'm on the fence if strider or assassin has the better bow skills. Strider has that rain-arrows skill while assassin has the snipershot. Haven't played these in a long time.
Coop with MMO sessions
Still open world with dungeons
Abyssal Anguish is the second strongest skill in the game after the assassin spergout
Assassin bow gameplay is Strider with snipershot and the machinegun skill, not as fun as the rain skill
In Dragon's Dogma Online all vocations had a single weapon and unique tool, which, considering how lame skill overlapping is, was the way to go
Hunter whas exactly only arrows, dodges and occasionall flying kick/bashes, but the arrow abilities were Strider and Ranger bow skills on steroids
>He forgot to put on Guts armor
You didn't beat the game
>Spirit Lance never ever
In Dragon's Dogma Online as hunter you could, for example target a chimera with a penetrating or explosive shot and dropkick into the bolt for extra stagger and damage
I just want to play as Alchemist and Seeker bros...
>>make all gear and perks usable by every class
I've been looking for this but can't find it. name?
>Skyrim sold dozens of millions of copies
But we still haven't got a properly budgeted and finished Dragin's Dogma
STONE FOREST
ABYSSAL ANGUISH
WHATEVER ELSE YOU NEED
youtube.com
For me, of course, it's Alchemist
docs.google.com
But all of the Vocations in DDON were fun in their own way. Stuff like Warrior were such huge improvements from Dragon's Dogma
When the FUCK is Dragon's Dogma 2, I don't care how lazy it is just add the stuff from DDON and I'll play it
Holy shit, I had never heard End of Struggle in DDO
Sounds like a God Eater OST
Holy kino
WTF is the issue with nips? Did they made DDO flop or did Capcop shut it down for no reason?
>Play as Seeker
>Literally never touch the ground during the entire fight
Are we putting together a team? Because I'm in
>If you don't play the game as a Sorcerer or Assassin for 100% of the game until you hit level cap, your build is fucked up.
>"NOOOOO YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO CARE ABOUT MAKING THE CORRECT CHOICES!"
Can't stand the leveling in this game, and I can't stand how everyone becomes an obtuse spazz when I mention it.
I can't have fun if I know my stats are suboptimal. Nothing anyone says is gonna change that.
