I remember doing E8S and dying 10 seconds in like that, it's a huge slap in the face that basically tells you, "Use mitigation for these attacks or you will die." P1S putting it later into the fight is sort of lame though since most new players are likely to just get killed by it the first few times.

The only DoH I leveled is CUL and it turns out to be a useless money sink unless I also have the gathering jobs leveled. If I ever touch crafters again it'll be fishing.

I came back to get back into the swing of things for the patch after my sub being off for like 3 months and I was shocked at how empty Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han were. Those places were jam packed for weeks.

I get that there's lulls between patches and populations dwindle and spike but even in dead periods of Shadowbringers Eulmore never felt this empty.

Guess there's nothing like the relic grind or other such grindy content like that yet though.

Those people are still in the game, just not in those places because they don't need to be there. Limsa is currently double the population it was in SHB and I hate it.

I'll dump my usual disgusting amount of hours into XIV once it's hit 6.2 or 6.3 and the Eureka/Bozja equivalent is added, or maybe Deep Dungeon, but yeah X.0 is usually a deadzone. XIV threads always seem to think it's dead and nocontent the first X.0 patch all over again.

Takes some practice to play in combat but it works well once you learn it.

I don't use it for combat, I'm way too used to KB+M, but I do use it for gathering or just hitting crafting macros.

There's really no reason to go there at the moment. All the normal daily/weekly stuff is still where it always was.
