I feel bad for Sony, they're the only ones who cares about gaming, they have several high quality first party studios, they innovate with their controllers Dualsense, they have done so much for gaming, and truth be told, it hurts a lot to see them losing relevance thanks to fucking U.S (California)

Switch sales are very good for a console in its 6th year, but nonetheless they are dropping pretty substantially despite a new version of the console and a recent big release (Kirby).

I'm gonna guess worldwide sales are down about 30% this year. I think the switch can have one more good year, but by the end of next year they're gonna need a replacement.

This is only physical retards.

Wow so going by that digital ratio, kirby should be around 1400000 by now.

Tendies are physical retards

You will own nothing and be happy

Imagine being a snoy and having to take credit for steam sales to finally have a "win"

Never understood that meme, what's supposed to be funny about playing in the shitter?

>but Elden ring sold 1 million

Attached: 1635902572633.jpg (558x845, 214.72K)

What are some upcoming games for PS5 and Switch? I know Splatoon 3 is coming out but anything for PS5?

It's not even that. That 1 million include physical copies shipped. So Famitsu stats aren't 1:1 to that info either.
Famitsu shows data from retail to users, while the companies count digital sales to users and physical sales to retail, so it's even more obfuscated what are the actual real numbers.

Are there any expectations for Mario Strikers in nipland?

Attached: 1647816837021.png (651x681, 54.72K)

Not sure, but the idea that whoever took this picture really needed to inflate his ego. Kinda sad in a funny way since he peaked over to take a pic of another man on the shitter, reminds me of that faggot taking a pic of a kid playing on a xbox kiosk. Which later get fucked by the fact he took it not a hour ago to use to shitpost.

How much will the Switch ports of 13 Sentinels and Demon Slayer sell?

Yeah I'm gonna say that's not representative of the average jap considering how many bombs had the top spots.
Not many. Their late ports for a game that has been out for a while

Famitsu's Most Wanted list is always hilarious, and the people who actually try to get any kind of market read based on it are either really new or retarded.

Has sports games ever been in this poll, or sell well in that matter?

Mad

>27. [PS5] Ghostwire: Tokyo – 1,987 / 12,131
jesus, this game might drop off the charts without even hitting 15k

>get burned by XIII and XV
>go crawling back because XVI "will be better this time, i swear"

>How much will the Switch ports of 13 Sentinels
I hope it does well considering vanilla are is actually putting the effort on the game instead of doing some half assed port.

rpgsite.net/review/12611-13-sentinels-aegis-rim-switch-review
>What most 13 Sentinels fans might be curious about is how well the Switch handles Destruction mode. Playing Destruction mode on the base PS4, and even the PS4 Pro at times, would cause a serious drop in framerate when the screen started to fill up with enemies. Before this port came out, I was wondering if the Switch would be able to handle some of the more intense battles. The answer Vanillaware gave me was, yes it can. All in all, the Switch version essentially runs the same as it does on the base PS4, and maybe even slightly better. There also didn't appear to be a reduction in the number of enemies during battles either, which would be one way of helping out the Switch's performance. The various kaiju still fill up the screen, and the infamous "Missile Rain" attack can still lag the game slightly, but I am impressed with the Switch's overall performance on this game

>Vanillaware has handled 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim's Switch port with the utmost care and, with some of the changes, may even be better than the PS4 version. While I was hoping that Vanillaware would go back and add in a couple of new scenes that they had previously cut out of the game, I will also happily take the changes to Destruction mode. Now that a Switch version is available, I am hoping more people will get to experience this masterpiece of modern gaming. 13 Sentinels flew under the radar on PS4, so now I'm hoping the spotlight will be on this excellent game after word of mouth has spread. If you love RPGs, have an affinity for excellent stories, are in the mood for some good brain exercise, or just looking for a nice 30-hour experience in gaming, look no further than 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

Attached: 1649385250515.webm (720x1280, 2.82M)

So Chrono Cross just released and 13 Sentinels releases in a couple of days
Money is not the issue but rather time, I'm already playing other stuff (kirbo, Triangle strategy, just started ME2 LE)
So which one? Cc looks interesting but I've heard some really mixed things about it and 13 Sentinels looks amazing and I really want to support it

>FINAL FANTASY XVI
>>>modern Final Fantasy
>Bayonetta 3
>a series with barely any financial achievements, let alone in Japan
Just like the "PS5 is most wished for on Amazon!" arguments, this is completely hollow and has no value, let alone reason to believe beyond circles of fans that will barely do anything in favour of an A-+ game.
Even with how well BotW did, its sequel is the same given how Link's Awakening/Skyward Sword HD did. The most realistic things on that list are Splatoon 3 being that high, Xenoblade 3 being the up-and-comer it's been via 2 and a bit of 1DE, and Sunbreak being middling, but still hefty as fucking Monster Hunter.

>I bought a PS5 with no games to buy.

>So which one?
13 Sentinels, it's pretty good

>Keep that in mind they designed this drive to improve loading times that's all i know

Sentinels releases in a couple of days
>Tuesday launch WW
>Thursday launch JPN
Strange release. Is it themed?

Will the Elden Ring bot still be around by the time Splat3 comes out?

oh yeah the list where FF7R was the most wanted game of all time only to sell like a regular game in Japan kek

Attached: 1510965216522.jpg (817x857, 62.9K)

Whether Nintendo wants it to be or not, the switch is clearly entering the end of its life. The decline is undeniable.

Probably, gonna be coping even harder

>Whether Nintendo wants it to be or not, the switch is clearly entering the end of its life. The decline is undeniable.
Says as the Switch eneters it's third best year

Japan is know to rarely buy remasters/ports/compilations so maybe they are betting on international markets to carry the burden?

Surprised Wonderland and Ghostwire held in there. I guess it was a pretty slow week.

So is this gonna be the new coping angle? Concern trolling over the death of the Switch despite it still selling fucktons?

Attached: Baffled.jpg (232x186, 9.88K)

Yeah that's how product cycles happen

It has a new model and Kirby and it still down 21% vs the same period last year. The market is reaching saturation.

>11. [NSW] Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! – 4,996 / 2,634,179
Choo choo motherfuckers!

InstallBase users must be so bored to keep copy pasting from there in these threads
Go play some games nerds

Of course, once again, snoy assumes Nintendo has no digital sales.

Attached: eyesdazegirl.png (200x200, 31.83K)

Snoy detected

B-BOT!!!!

The Switch is 5 years old, with only on exception in history consoles have lasted 7 or less years (the gameboy being the exception at 8 years). This is nothing about Nintendo failing or being doomed, it's the normal end of a console's life and they'll once again see sales spike when they transition to the next one in the next two years.

But a lot of people have been suggesting the switch will have some freak 10-12 year life and clearly that's not happening.

Despite all the new PS games, I don't think we ever broke under 20/30 being [NSW] and now we're heading back to 30/30

Sentinels will likely do 10-20k give or take, KnY around 100k.

Snoy also takes credit for steam sales

>Where's TLOU2 sales? They must be shit if they aren't saying anything.
>Why are you assuming Nintendo isn't giving digital sales? Just because they aren't saying anything doesn't mean it's bad!
average famitsutard logic

Based

Moneyhatting.

If that's the case it's a bad copy paste because it's missing the weekly movement and the estimated stock percentage.

Doesnt sony have a few games coming out this year? Surely 3rd parties will pick up the slack

Yeah, Bayo 3 in second is a hilarious give away

We get nintendo sales every quarter though. We still have no sales numbers on tlou2 outside of launch month.
