A couple years ago I streamed Rain World and Stalker: SoC playthroughs on Twitch. My Rain World playthrough got me a loyal following of half a dozen people who watched me all the way to the end of the game. When I played Stalker I lost my previous viewers but gained about a dozen russians who kept telling me where all the secret stashes were which was cute. I gave up on it because it wasn't fun to try and constantly be entertaining.

I always think it would be fun to do, but then I remember that in order to keep it sustainable you basically have to foster parasocial relationships, be insufferably active on social media, and luck out with "the algorithm" on top of all that.
