Where there it boils down to who paid for the most marketing resulting in the most HYPE, BAFTA is all about media darlings and totally-not-favor-trading indie scene. And then there's Deathloop which doesn't really belong in neither and is just there because it has black characters.

If im understanding it correctly it means that games will be judged based on diversity and merit, instead being judged on merit, and then a separate category for diversity.
This is pretty bad for art. I get that you want to reward based on diversity but this is not the correct way to do it. Of course that is if im understanding it correctly.
