You should play Black Souls, It gives you the option to turn the h-scenes off, but I don't know if you still get the dialog from them.

At first you might think the drawing crude and kind of rough, but eventually you'll start to warm up to them, and then you get really into the story and start seeing shit go down. All in all it is an amazing experience, I wonder what EMMM (the game's creator) could do with proper funding sometimes.

I liked Rance VI more than Sengoku. Never been a fan of Sengoku's genre.

Just do it, none of Black Souls' praise comes from the porn and it can even be turned off. People just suggest not to turn it off in 2 because there's some plot hidden in them.

Rance X is one of the greatest games of all time period (and so is Sengoku).
Rance03 is a 10/10 story with 5/10 gameplay.
Of course everyone knows Kamidori. Himegari is very similar but it was too brutal for me. The Ikusa Megami games are fun if you play them on hard mode.
Eiyuu Senki (I played Gold version) is fun on hard and has 10/10 porn.
Raijin7 is a lot of fun, it's basically Sengoku Rance in space.
Daibanchou and Kichikuou Rance are almost as good as Sengoku
Toshin Toshi II is very memorable for me for some reason. But it's not for everyone.
I still play Hizashi no Naka ni Real once in a while.
Summer Memories was really good.
