>Defeating alium kills the Mishima curse

The thing I’m uncertain is Jin, there’s two routes regarding his conclusion, depending on whether his creators hate him or not

>His last words: XIAYOU FINDING ANOTHER MAN, I DON’T WANT THAT, I WANT HER TO THINK ABOUT ME AND NO ONE ELSE! FOR 10 YEARS AT LEAST!

>The outline of Asuka's story in T6 is literally about her wanting to stop Jin but then it just ends with shenanigans with Lili

I feel that they wanted to repeat Kazuya and Jun''s from T1&2 again with Jin being a tragic hero consumed by the devil gene and meeting a girl from the Kazama clan (Asuka) that was supposed to save him. The story of this series really went to shit after 5.

Kazuya's entire deal is about hating humanity and wanting absolute control, he doesn't care about Jun, Jin, or anyone as shown multiple times, he's an absolute evil, and being killed by Jin is the only fitting end for him.

Xiaoyu will probably die because of Claudio as shown in Tekken 7 arcade ending, the similar thing may happen to Hwoarang seeing how he already lost his eye by helping Jin escape.

I'm practically sure that Jin will survive seeing how Asuka can cure his devil gene. Plus Harada said that Asuka and Jin's connection and history with each other are yet to be explored.

The fact that Lili's T7's ending implies that her rivalry with Asuka may shift to her having a rivalry with Eliza fills me with the hope that Asuka will finally get her important role in the story and the plotline of her having connection with Jin and the ability to cure him and stop him will be finally explored. I hope that they adapt events from the official manga (pic rel).

To be fair Tekken 7 was a really low budget because Tag Tournament 2 failed financially so Bandai Namco forced Harada to prove that the series is still worth investing in. Now that T7 became one of the best-selling games in the series brings hope that Tekken 8 will have a much bigger budget and that making it takes them so long because they want to really plish it and make it as complete as possible on release.

There's a market, just not as large. Tekken is main stream enough but not like Street Fighter is. Street Fighter is a cultural thing.

I would love it if they made him wear his hair completely down, made his eyebrows thinner, and gave him white and black clothes, it would finally make him look like a full Kazama which (again) was already a thing he was going for in 5 where he was wearing white and black and had an unlockable hairstyle that made him look more like full Kazama.

Tekkens roster has gotten huge. i'm the type of guy who likes story with his fighting games. Yeah weird i know but it sucks when your favorites get side lined or become comic reliefs only to focus on the hyper cheesy meodrama that is the Mishima storyline.
