I can't imagine developing something like this from having faggot workless hands

fixed mine simply by using a cheap vertical mouse.

now if only i could find as good a solution for the back pain i get from sitting and standing at the desk for prolonged periods

A month, fixed it by sleeping with my arm straight for a month

can't play handhelds anymore and used to play shooters to a very high level and i pretty much just gave up on that, if i had been less depressed at the time of onset i might have done stretches and stuff regulalry but after losing most of my edge i just don't have the incentive to do it

since you seem to be abject fucking idiot, I'm sure you'll end up with worse

For me, it's this

Got carpal tunnels in both hands last year. It lasted for 4 months. It only started improving after I wore pic every night.

I messed up my hand from drawing too much but the pain was mostly through my pinky finger and wrist

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME how to prevent the back pain from sitting and standing at the desk all day! PLEASE i need to do this for my job (already have an electric adjustable desk)

Made up boomer illness

stretch and work out.

my backs imploding on itself but I can't drag myself to the doctor to fix me instead of just letting my body deteriorate even though I've been paying for the better tier of insurance at my job since last year telling myself I'd do it.
:)

Someone post the hand stretch that improves circulation. You know the one.

already do both

The only time I ever had problems with this was because of work.
I was on the packaging line for a major PC manufacturer. I had to apply the COA label to the laptops, put them in a bag, and then hand them off to the next guy who put the styrofoam pieces on the end and put it in the box.
You get an economy of motion for things, so you end up doing the same flick of your wrist a thousand times a day and I started to feel electric shocks running up my forearm.
The company was actually really good about the ergonomics of everyone's station and they started rotating me inside the packaging line.

Do some exercise you fat cunt

doctors arent going to fix you theyre going to make it worse

I got it from my job and I solve that problem like most of my problems through binge drinking and Super Sentai.

the only time i've had carpal tunnel was because i've spent six years cracking these disgusting pieces of shit open 6 days a week

>play video games for over 20 years
>never have any wrist problems
>play guitar for little over a year
>instant wrist pain and ganglion cysts

fucking barre chords.

i mean in my case that particularly isn't true. I know I got scoliosis I got diagnosed with a form of it at the start of the pandemic when I went in for x-rays on my lungs I had them check the back out too. at this point I at least need a physical trainer, and a back doctor to recommend the proper way for me to deal with adjusting it. what back braces to do etc. need to start working out more but I need to be careful in what I do or else I bear the risk of grinding my spine into more dust. still not sure if I'd ever do back surgery. shit sucks because that stuff isnt a garuantee for a better life and you need a great surgeon and even if you have one it can still go wrong. Let alone the total nightmare case.
really hoping my rampant alcoholism and inability to be able to do self-care hasn't fucked it to the point that's recommended.
God damn blog post.

find one of those godlike chiros, not the shitty street corner ones

chiropractic on scoliosis is the worst idea imaginable.

Are your feet flat & are you running? If so, that's part of the cause.
At least, that's what happened with me.

I had the surgery for it 3 weeks ago. It was worth it.

Look at it this way dude, you are now a god tier level pro at cracking open oysters, most people wouldn't even know where to begin.

No one cares

Isn't chiropracty a scam?

I had RSI in 2015, never fully recovered. I still do stretches and have breams every 4 hours.
More recently has been thumb and finger tendonitis. Kinda just on and off.

I should quit gaming but I don't give a shit. I can tolerate the pain.

You begin with the slit, stupid

That's what she said

Bro you stick a knife in there and twist.
It's the seafood equivalent of peeling potatoes.

I occasionally get it.
I fix it by fixing my posture and use a gel wrist pad.

But I bet that guy can do it faster than 99% of the planet now

>read this as churros and it still made sense

yes just let me chop you up goy, thatll be $30,000
no flat feet, my feet do start hurting when i run or jog a lot though
nope its just very unorthodox and independent

fuck you, i care about that user's post, bitch

Had to use a brace for a while. Now I use a mousepad with an arm rest and mind my hand posture a bit more.

means fuckall since i hate oysters and the job is complete ass

2 years
injections didn't work, tests inconclusive
surgery or meds are my only options

I had ulnar nerve compression from putting my elbow on my desk too much. Turned my fingers completely numb. Scary

Learn to love oysters

But the best churros I've ever had here in God's Country have been on street corners

I hope you get better user

I haven't had carpal tunnel but I've been playing FTL all day and my elbow hurts

I actually experience the exact opposite. My left ring and pinkie finger will go numb if I keep it in the wrong position for too long.

I had nerve compression in my neck and it gave constant migraines for weeks straight.

What about Blue Öyster Cult?
This album of theirs in particular.

My wrist hurts as of late.
I try to spend less time on the computer or play video games with a gamepad or keyboard only instead.
Using the middle finger to left click helps too.

htat's from you leaning forward with your head crooked you are compressing your spinal nerves in your cervical spine

i am 40 and about to have spinal surgery

please stop. im begging you. sit with correct posture.

Had it for a solid year. Was using a wrist brace and everything. Was even doing wrist exercises. It is better now, but I still occasionally get the numbness and pain and if I am doing some EXTREME GAMING with a mouse I still use a wrist brace.

I've had it on my ring and pinky fingers. Is that carpal tunnel, or something different? Though, it tends to happen when I wake up because I sleep on my non-dominant side all the time.

Oh yeah, Serious Sam TSE really fucked me up.
Most people who talk about accessibility are huge faggots and focus on crap such as difficulty, which is sad because there are more legitimate issues that don't get brought up as often because of them.

same
did you find a solution yet?

cubital tunnel syndrome

I had it so bad on my left elbow (where i kept it pressing against the desk supporting the full weight of my head for hours daily) that one night I could not sleep because no matter what position it was in, bent or not, on a blanket or not, it hurt, it really sucked

Well, I work as a medical imaging practitioner and I get patients coming in all the time with Carpal Tunnel. Most of these people are in their 40s 50s that do labor-intensive jobs that actually require you to use your hands/wrists/joints/strength. For instance, carpenters, chefs, plumbers, public transport operators, and many more.

Then occasionally we get these manchildren coming with bad B/O and I know this one motherfucker goes on Yea Forums because I shit you not this guy was playing on his bing bing wahoo in the waiting area. Not to mention he looks EXACTLY how I would imagine a Yea Forums person would look like. His requisition states that he has the symptoms of CTS and when I checked his skinny little wristlet's wrist, there was absolutely fucking nothing wrong with him. I told him he doesn't have CTS but the guy kept trying to affirm to me that he does and that he gets it from spending a lot of time on the computer. I laughed at his face and told him he should stop being a faggot (in a professional way). The guy left making a pussy grunt sound like in one of those mario games and I just told him to exercise more.

And all the nurses clapped.

cubital tunnel syndrome, I have the same

>limp wristed faggot vs limp wristed faggot

Great album

If I click the mouse or type with my index finger too much I get tendon pain way up below my elbow, I've tried searching for symptoms but can never find anything about it. I know it must be a tendon thing.

I think I had it temporarily for a week. I remember waking up from a pulsing pain in my middle fingers on my right hand. Didn't do anything beyond some stretches. That was around 4 years ago.

If you visit a Chiropractor more than twice you're being scammed. It's a quick fix and relief which the chiro relies upon you coming back for more

Yes.
