a girly little butterfly who is also the grim reaper

>You will know true horror. Now rot.

I thought he was like Galacta Knight's true form or something? Like from Star Allies.

Meta Knight (forme de faggote)

His mitts look so soft guys..

A soul sucking asshole

Morpho Knight, the ender of jobbers both borb or otherwise.

borb

>bad orb is black

Really makes you think.

He was a butterfly of paradise, the same one that shows up in the intro to most Kirby games, he assumed this form through absorbing Galacta Knight and is now a knight of judgement, ending the lives of those who've lived too long.

>the butterfly lands on Galacta knight
>becomes morpho knight
>the butterfly lands on soul forgo
>becomes...morpho knight

????

Maybe the butterfly needs to absorb beings of extreme power to manifest it's true form.

El diablo de mariposa

Galacta Knight infused with the hopes and dreams of the universe.
It seems like after the first appearance the butterfly needs a battery source to attain this form again
either way its kino

The butterfly kept Galacta Knight's body because it would be more appropiate to fight Kirby than fighting as a giant fetus.

Kirby is quite literally the closest thing to God in his universe save for void.

ORB is peak form, therefore to kick the most amount of ass you must become ORB.

>Knight of judgement
>Proceeds to attack Kirby, possibly in an act of judgement
>Kirby wipes the floor with him
>Kirby is rewarded with the Morpho sword blueprint
>Chaos Elfilis escapes and bears some resemblance to Morpho Knight after the fight
>It is now Kirby's job to stop this stubborn soul for good
Kino. And it's like the game hands you the Morpho Sword so you can have fun in The Ultimate Cup Z

Cut content from Kirby GCN.

Moth Knight

Dude fucking hates reused content

>hates reused content
>becomes reused content
It's kino, bros.

>Morpho sword is only okay against Chaos Elfilis, he's still very tanky
It felt so good to beat him with it.

Most games give you the best item after you 100% it. HAL realized that shit is so fucking lame and let the final series of fights be with the best weapon in the game that has its own set of nuances to it.

Good stuff. Wish the Morpho Knight theme was better because it isn't even close to Galacta Knight.

so is galacta knight actually dead, or was that bit non-canon.
if the lorechads could explain, i'd appreciate it.

I may sound like a nintentard for saying this, but I almost squeaked when I first saw him appear in Star Allies.

based hal for using this cool design after like 12 years though, shits epic

Spend time fighting monsters, etc.

The only way you're beating something like Kirby is with another of his species, this is why guys like Dark Meta Knight and Morpho Knight exist, they didn't reincarnate from Void but they can reach the same physical form as those reincarnations through different means.

So is he a bad guy or a good guy? Was Galacta knight a bad guy or a good guy?

Watch Morpho hijack another bossfight in the next game, only for another butterfly to hijack his fight and become Soul Morpho

galacta knight is an autistic good guy i'd say, since he did help seal void termina iirc

Uncanon. The whole game's friend mode where you play as the befriended enemies is just SA's own "What-if" game mode

>not fighting as a fetus knight

He takes that form when he absorbs anybody, not just Galacta Knight. He took it when he absorbed Fecto as well. It's just his real form.

If only

>Galacta Knight can one shot Star Nova
>Morpho Knight (as a butterfly) can instantly kill Galacta Knight
How fucking strong is Morpho Knight?

What the fuck are you guys talking about

morpho knight

He's Bart Simpson reincarnate.

>seal away BIG BAD
>get sealed away yourself, probably while fucking pissed
>in every what-if mode you essentially get summoned back immediately post-seal
>understandably angry and lashing out at whatever is near you
Galacta Knight had a hard life. Good thing he's still sealed in canon.

It's one of the few things we can't come to a mutual agreement on, we've been arguing over this for a while now, it's easier to just say "we don't know" than to start another argument that won't come to a conclusion, it's better to wait until we can get more information.
He either hasn't been freed from his seal in the first place, is trapped inside of Morpho Knight or he's fucking dead.
Regardless of the true answer, I don't think anyone wants Galacta Knight to permanently die, Morpho Knight can't replace Galacta Knight, he's not even as intense of a fight as Dark Meta Knight's Revenge.

He's neither bad nor good, he's just an emissary from hell sent to judge souls that have escaped the afterlife for too long.

All of Galacta Knight's appearances, including his death, happen in "what-if" scenarios. I think it's safe to say the broad strokes are true (Galacta Knight exists, he may have even been fought by Kirby and Meta Knight, Morpho killed him), they just didn't happen exactly as presented in the game, because in the game it's always at the end of some unexplainable situation like a boss rush against a bunch of long dead fuckers or an extra mode where you redo things Kirby already did for some reason.

I feel like I'm in a Morrowind lore thread

At this point I don’t particularly want Galacta Knight to ever appear. Considering how much he was spammed from SSU to Robobot an actual canon appearance would have to be a drastically different, actually difficult boss to be cool. He’s jobbed too many times to have any impact, setting a character up as the greatest warrior of all time only to job repeatedly is asking for them to be a joke.

Kirby lore is as expansive and psychotic as the amount of autism you feel the need to put into it.

Galacta Knight was known as Aeon Hero back in ye olde ancient days.
Aeon Hero was tasked alongside 3 others to defeat Void Termina and Aeon Hero does just that.
Problem: Aeon Hero's victory over Void was as incredible as it was horrifying, so the magic side of the ancients sealed him away for fear of what he *could* do, not even what he would do.
Understandably, this pissed him off and he now actively wants to do exactly what the ancients sealed him away for.

Lore.
Kirby has it.

A fucking borb sucking people to get stronger

youtu.be/pJ_Pfuj9wPE?t=18

So is the forgotten land just super far away or was it some other dimension?

Was the ending implying they're the 'ancients'?

The Forgotten Land is in another dimension (not necessarily Another Dimension, but another dimension). It is the homeworld of the ancients. The ancients were a human-like species. I am correct on ALL of these.

Attached: nuking this crap.png (1000x900, 313.29K)

But why does he always attack Kirby?
Does that mean Kirby should be dead and Morpho's trying to drag him to the afterlife, but Kirby's literally too strong to die?

yes

>I am correct on ALL of these.
Never say that when talking about Kirby lore

Nobody can prove me wrong.

So the true final boss is literally Drawcia's soul, moveset included.
What are the lore implications? And why is every single final boss (except Kirby adventure) either an eyeball or a soul? Or both?

Attached: Astral_Void.jpg (1280x720, 142.97K)

imagine mouthful mode on your penis

Void is the chaotic origin of all things, ALL things, Kirby himself included.

I thought Void was the origin of all Dark Matter? And that Dark Matter COULD be good sometimes, like Gooey.

All soul bosses have attacks from Drawcia Soul because all soul bosses have similar moves.

headcanon

>is STILL the best level theme in your path

>job repeatedly
You say as if losing to Kirby and Meta Knight several times is a bad thing.

I’m pretty sure the super final bosses from the boss rush modes aren’t canon

Saying something is a headcanon isn't an argument, it's like saying "no, you're wrong" without going into why.

Ahem, also 64 has THE best OST fight me.

youtu.be/HCIMHn5FEYQ

The why is because nothing confirms the point you are asserting. You posit a theory as a fact. I didn't say you're wrong because there is also nothing that confirms you're wrong.

>You now associate darkness with people rather than shadows/the night/unknown
I'm glad I took a step back from politics.

but seriously, yes

remember that kirby was meant to be a placeholder character until they just decided to keep him for some reason

he's lived far longer than he was ever meant to

that "for some reason" could also mean kirby willed kirby into existence

Buttaknight

I don't know why, but playing Forgotten Land made me nostalgic for Return to Dreamland
I had forgotten how good CROWNED was
youtube.com/watch?v=r0Ip0ee7qso
Maybe it's time to dust off my Wii U and replay it.

Is that really the case, it seems kinda weird that the knight form would be taken everytime, especially since Fecto still appears during the FL fight as the ghostly apparitions. From what I recall Morpho has absorbed Galacta Knight whereas Fecto was able to break free which is how we ended up with Chaos Elfilis. So it seems like the Knight form is because of Galacta Knight and it assumes that form when it has to fight.

So was it a colony of the original race of Forgotten Land, or is this the true original homeworld of that race and they migrated to the Forgotten Land after their war destroyed the planet.

To be fair Star Novas don't seem to be that powerful defensively given a big drill or the dead corpse of Marx were able to destroy them wholly.
