they're both good and playable, but are a lot slower than the other games, both in terms of pacing and gameplay. 2 has a super slow and confusing start, but is very enjoyable once it gets rolling. 1 honestly doesn't have much going for it besides dungeon crawling and farming, but i'd still recommend giving it a try.
