What went so wrong?
What went so wrong?
nothing, kino boss. but i think he should be somehow separated from radagon instead of stealing his spotlight
he shouldve used radagon's body as a club instead of that random sword
He cute
How we feeling wormbros?
Problem?
He runs away too much. By the time you reach him he runs again.
Other than that, nothing.
>96 metacritic
>15+ million copies sold
>will win GOTY
nothing
They tried to merge Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Skyrim and BOTW into one soulless final product.
snk and elden ring are in the same universe, the coincidences are too much
>final boss is a damage sponge
>you are not allowed to use holy damage on it (even God Slaying sources like the Black Knife HEAL IT)
>entire moveset involves it running away
People shit on the Divine Dragon but at least that boss would swing at you rather than run away
It's just a boring, not super visually interesting boss that is annoying to fight. It's not awful but it certainly isn't a high point to end such a long game with.
*runs away from you*
I had to cheese this dude, literally a damage sponge that runs away non stop.
Don't care, the music is kino
>make a game
>make it huge
>add a horse
>forbid it on 80% of the bosses
96
15+ million
The one endgame boss that's actually pretty easy with a STR build.
He's kino
>wtf why does the source of holy magic not take damage from holy magic
This tbqh. Forbid summons for all I care but this fight would've been so much cooler with the horse.
>What went so wrong?
Tanimura workd on the project.
Your skill issue.
Only hard part is that flying ball of holy cancer
i beat him yesterday and uninstalled the game to make room for some other games i want to play
>storagelet
didn't keep the game
the ban wave hit me bros
what do i do nowweew
he didn't stop moving forward
Option A;
Phase 1 is Marika with a simplistic moveset, but exists to test you and teach you the moveset of the fight, like Freide. No summon available.
Phase 2 is Marika and Radogan in a broken, half complete state, who compliment eachother's moves like O+S. Summon is available.
Phase 3 is Radogan, restored to his height. The music blares and the Elden Ring theme plays. He instantly kills your summon. He's strong, but you know his moveset by now so you have a chance of beating him the first time you reach Phase 3. This is it, the final boss.
Option B:
Immediately blows its load with the Main theme, and you fight a broken Radogan. Sort of cool, a bit of an easy win, but at least we end on a high note!
Nevermined, he's Phase 2 - fight an unexplained monster with bloated health who spams AoE magic and runs away.
Wow i'm glad whoever designed the final boss just ignored all of the core elements of the best fights of any of the previous games to make Elden Beast instead.
Nothing went wrong, this boss has unique movements of his entire body for each attack, including various ways of making his entire nervous system glow. People are upset that a boss with projectiles dares to get some space, even though nobody bitched about chasing Kalameet or the Armored Spider having a fuck-off flamethrower attack.
>le big boss that just heckin' flies away and shoots laz0r beams
good thing he's so easy otherwise I would've gotten tired of it real fast
>Marika fighting you at all
She's the source of the Grace and the return of the Tarnished, not the Greater Will.
works on my machine
>banwave
Explain. What did you do that got you ban?
Ok I finally caught up
Unironically, how are you supposed to dodge her "I win" button? Her fight would be so straightforward and easy otherwise but when she does this move there is absolutely nothing I can do. Even running out of it's reach she will still just decide to do it again. I reached Phase 2 once and I don't even remember how
Its so shit
RNG, I beat her with four builds. All RNG when she barely ever used that move. Its amazing how easy she is if she never had it.
block or use the bloodhound step ash
>he
>look at me I'm so lovecraftian
Miyazaki is a hack
so did Hamatani. is Tanimura's debuff that strong?
it comes out at predictable and semi-predictable timings in phase 1 so you can game it and bait from a distance with a throwing knife, and learn how to reliably dodge the first flurry. there is a soft "cooldown" mechanic that prevents her from being likely to use it again immediately after so you can play aggressively after that.
in phase 2 if you want to play it safe you have to curb your aggression and be at a distance, which makes it easier to avoid both waterfowl and clone no jutsu. she gives you more obvious openings with the air jump followup that she does after most of her old openings
if you're a complete baller then you can continue playing aggressive but use the sprint buffer method to ensure that you CAN create distance after committing to an attack but that is harder (basically queueing up a sprint command after your attack to avoid the inherent sprinting input delay, which can be difficult because she has quick swipe followups you will have to awkwardly roll if she decides to do)
How do you dodge the orb thing that follows you?
If you're stuck up close when she does it, try this.
honestly looks like dumb luck. I've had the idea of dodging under it and then predicting the arc she'd track me at myself but it just does not work, she will straight up teleport back into me.
fia panties + going past default sliders
There's a science to it. Also, each flurry of Waterfowl Dance has different properties. Flurry 1 has the best initial tracking, and it sounds like you're getting caught by Flurry 3, which exists to cross tremendous distances and punish people sprinting/rolling back. Rolling at her before she launches Flurry 3 is a good way to avoid getting hit by it.
RUMBLING
IT'S COMING
Marika wants to die, it makes no sense for her to fight you, Radagon should start less broken and has a 2nd phase where the wings and arm of elden beast sprout from the cracks on his body, then after you kill him he completely crumbles and elden beast comes out
No rule34
I've never been quick enough to get the rotating method because you have to unlock AND get the right positioning to start rotating around her all during that windup. it's definitely at least somewhat consistent for other people though. I have caveman brain so this method worked for me as long as I was queueing up the sprint command as soon as I saw her going up into the air
You need to shoot that point blank on him for extra damage
fucking retarded ugly design.
and it worked flawlessly
Did u know that these mofos would only move forward, just like Eren says he will keep moving forward
Dodge the first hit to the side, 2nd one forward, 3rd will miss you, dodge away for the last one
The other dangerous attack is her clones but for that one you just need to run in circles and dodge the final stab
Wacky design and too big of arena with no torrent access. His cutscene is supremely cool though.
my Godslayer GS worked fine
Some legacy dungeons are really good though, but yeah reused dungeons and bosses make the second half a slog
Run and dodge into it when it gets too close, other than that there's a crystal tear that turns damage into health so you can use it to make the attack heal you
Hallucigenia are cute. They were also thought of being just the spiky torso before paleos found the rest of the head recently.
What else is there
the sword is the body look at the hilt its a ribcage
no horse
I enjoyed SnK's final arc and i'm tired of pretending the series is bad, there I said it.
