play Code Vein
Play Code Vein
Did. Don’t care for it
Already played it, liked it, just waiting for some time to pass for ng+.
Does it still have denuvo?
Is already in the mail but should i make my waife character like 2D or Hex or just play with a male character i hear the fun part of code vein was the character creation
And also is okay to jump the dlc right?
The gameplay was pretty fun but the levels killed it for me. They were just so empty and similiar to eachother.
>g*rman
you can make a cat boi so you can have the best of both worlds

I will when my Deck arrives. I also absolutely don't give a crap about Soulshit but this one has anime titties so I bought it.
I did. Played about an hour or two. I went from brown caves, to brown ruined city, to a brown swamp inside of a cave. After visiting the hub where it has interactive spots everywhere to theoretically just take picture of your character.
The character creation was pretty cool and I like how its a little looser on what you can equip/build your character into. But holy shit those first few areas were incredibly boring, back to back to back. The reason I enjoy games with Souls-like inspiration is for the interesting environments to explore with secrets to find. And I understand I didn't get very far, but it was an absolutely abysmal first impression of the game. Add to it, all I hear from people about the later stages is that the level design only gets worse in spots.
I hope it gets a sequel because I do think there are some neat elements to it, and I'd love to see the devs expand into more visually interesting settings. But goddamn was it not for me.
>he didn't make it to cathedral maze mapkino
oh no no no
yeah most maps are ass
once its on sell sure.
Yeah, I saw a clip of someone basically just screaming the entire time while going through that area. Visually it looks dope, but I remember them getting turned around 24/7 and just exhausted by the end of it. Again, I like elements of what they're doing in the game. But level design is just so fucking critical for my enjoyment. It's the same reason I bounced off of Nioh 1 but then enjoyed Nioh 2. Nioh 2 had just enough quality and variety in the levels to make it where I could finally sink into the mechanics enough to enjoy the experience.
I just bounced off of Code Vein almost immediately. If it wasn't at least back to back brown dusty levels maybe I could've gotten into the combat enough to make it through. But I played it months ago and haven't felt the urge to go back yet.
i did
too many cutscenes i ended up skipping most of em and all the levels after cathedral were so fucking short, good character slider though check out my cute tomboy.
anyways game sucks, got all achievements. fuck farming for those medals, nver again.
Code Vein fans are delusional enough to believe that enough people liked the game for it to get a sequel when threads like this one (or simply browsing any other website) proves the opposite.
nice tomboy
I will after I'm done with DS3.
If you're a Souls fan you will hate Code Vein.
Dick-crushing triple titfuck with Eva, Io, and Coco
Souls game clones just don't understand the point of dark soul games really or why they became cult classics. That's the case even for Nioh which will always be my favorite soul game series, it still didn't have the level of exploration and immersion DS1, even DeS had
even the surge is better than this dogshit
So how does Scarlet Nexus fit into the timeline?
We know that Code Vein and God Eater 3 happen around the same time as the gold thorns are everywhere in both games.
Like is Scarlet Nexus just set at the very end of the Timeline or is it like a parallel one where the cast of God Eater one failed in stopping the Devouring apocalypse?
Is that really how it work? But it doesn't concerns me.
I don't hate DS but I'm rather indifferent about it and I prefer Nioh overall despite the flaws.
I only finished DS1 recently and it was really boring most of time. I need better gameplay than this..
DS3 is ok so far but Code Vein is so hated on Yea Forums that I doubt it's any better, I want to find out for myself though, as there's a possibility that a chunk of Yea Forums and normalfags out there really only hate Code Vein because it's "anime" and that wouldn't be surprising at all.
booba
code vein is an experiment to see how much filler content you can make with the least amount of asset packs. My favorite level is the one thats just a single garbage pile asset copy+pasted 2000 times
the dlc was complete shit
teasing god eater like that and then do nothign with it
Code Vein is a vastly worse game than the Souls games on every single aspect and an extremely mediocre game on its own; the anime art style is pretty much the sole reason most people bought it. It belongs to the same category as Senran Kagura, Neptunia, Seven Pirates H and all other shovelware, garbage polluting the Vita and contaminating Steam and the Switch.
Sometimes when everyone shits on a game, it's because the game is shit. Not necessarily because everyone is pulling the contrarian card.
If you're a DS1/2 purist and hate BB/3/ER then you'll probably hate CV, but I liked the faster flashier combat in B/3/ER and while I didn't love CV, I did fine it to be pretty fun
>using genocide language
This type of reddit tier normalcancer post is exactly why I will decide for myself instead of believing any of it.
One of the worst games I've ever played
>Mia has fewer 3d lewds than Io
>Rin has no 3d lewds
kusoge
Already did. Booba is the only good thing about it.
Bloodborne and Elden Ring are the only games I like more than Code Vein
Code vein isn't like Ni-oh, an enjoyable, solid game that just filtered Dark Souls purists; it's just a plain shitty game.
The combat revolves around flashy gimmicky attacks like Elden Ring's ashes of war but way worse; the movement and animations are terrible and cheap-looking; the levels are so copypasted and monotonous that make Halo 1's library look unique and interesting; it has worse enemy variety than Ni-oh. Big, heavy weapons have no weight behind them.
>why did you play it for 130 hours then?
Because I really, really wanted to like it, and failing that I wanted to at least get all the achievements so I could get my money back.
It's because of invasions, you dummy.
I don't care about content and filler issues as long it's fun to get through.
I had a tousand time more fun with Nioh with it's 10 enemies reused a billion time than the majority of Dark Soul.
Code Vein is unpolished, but still a lot of fun. Lots of people just don't make builds past Adrenaline+Atlas+Zweihande, which can get you through the game but is also incredibly boring.
>Playing bargain bin tier games so you can "pwn the normies"
Your loss. It's your money and time, not mine.
Remember to try out the demo before purchasing. While the demo doesn't have the QoL changes patches gave the main game, it should give you a basic overview of how the game plays and what the characters are like.
That's code vein's sole redeeming feature: it gives people a chance to see the piece of shit before wasting their money.
>code vein
>not a single visible breast vein in the entire game
I feel cheated.
>Code Vein is so hated on Yea Forums
Since when? Threads are always positive aside from one schizophrenic retard who obsessively tries to convince everyone it was a failure.
Hell, Io has been favorably compared to Melina in quite a few Elden Ring threads. The game is just unpolished and janky, but it's still fun.
Normie at best, feminazi trannies reverse shilling at worst.
There are many games that I found interesting if not actually quite good that I would have missed entirely if I was listening to you puritain trannies.
>Since when?
Since ever; just look at this thread.
Just because you, your three or four friends and the three or four anons bumping the threads like something doesn't mean that the rest of the world does.
>Dark Soul 2nd half.jpg
Kino area
Again, it's your time and money what you're going to waste, not mine. Just don't come here crying that Yea Forums tricked you into playing a shit game.
I see exactly one person bitching about it, everyone else is simply discussing the game. Take your meds.
The best.
>everyone else is simply discussing the game
And calling it a bad game or a mediocre one. That's not I would call "positive reception".
>doesnt mention boobs or fanservice at all
>TRANNIES COULD BE HERE
I already did. It was alright.
It has fundamental problems, but it has a surprising amount of charm. Or should I say, SOUL. Despite being an anime knock-off put out by the anime knock-off studio. And Io is very charming.
Nah most people like it.
this is correct
the character creation was neat, but the bad anime writing and terrible environment design made me nope out of it real fast
>Io has been favorably compared to Melina in quite a few Elden Ring threads
Why every shit game is trying to leech Elden Ring's popularity? from Horizon Forbidden West to random indie pixel RPG maker project no.1919595958581?
Thinking of doing a bayonet run.
How much suffering is it? Will guilded hunter absolutely rape me?
You're very delusional if you believe that.
Feel free to prove me wrong.
I did but stopped playing after beating Mido and since it got taken off of gamepass I don't really have any motivation to buy it full priced. I assume there's like only a few more bosses from there?
I appreciate just how absurd some builds can get.
It's more of a "Io was done better than Melina" kind of thing.
You'll still get by, but you'll hate the melee moveset. I would recommend stuff that increases charge attacks and getting higher Ichor caps.
That's not really a high bar. 90% of the positive steam reviews are garbage like "le anime dark souls" or "anime titties!!" while the majority of negative reviews give actual criticism. This isn't exactly uncommon for user reviews but this feels especially true here. Most games still have a decent amount of useful reviews, even just a few sentences describing why the game is enjoyable.
This very thread proves you wrong. Just look at it:
>More than half the posters hated the game or never finished it
>The ones who finished it have to use all kind of buzzword to defend it: "it's shit but it has SOVL"
>But 1 million sales
Elden Ring sold 12 million sales and the consensus is that it is a mediocre copyasted game where From is just going through the motions. Cyberpunk sold 13 million sales and it was the biggest gaming disaster of the decade.
Good sales don't mean that a game is good or liked
Most of the thread is casually discussing the game, most of the posts complaining about it are you, and you still need to take your medication.
>"le anime dark souls" or "anime titties!!"
Or ASCII anime titties art.
Meanwhile any Senran Kagura game has the same positive score as Sekiro, maybe even higher.
I already did, twice
Holy fuck the crispy 60 fps on the first dlc were a gift from god while my xbox was struggling to mantain 30 fps without overheating in the middle of the fucking fight
Don't bother. The game is generic garbage with a horrendous combat system. Play an actual good game like Nioh 2 instead.
bayonet is fucking garbage until end game when you get all the good spells
>Most of the thread is casually discussing the game
and criticizing it for its shortcomings and flaws, going as far as telling people to steer clear from it.
Code vein... isn't a liked game. You believe it is because you like it, but the rest of consumers disagree.
Not too much, queens knight reborn is just a beefed up version of the one you already fought. One joke fight then straight to final boss.
Skull king is a pretty good fight though and the endings are decent but probably not worth paying full price for.

proofs???
I like Nioh, Souls, BB, and Code Vein
You're dense like a stone, aren't you?
proofs pls
