Its mostly also because artists refuse to get out of their comfort zone and stop evolving. Always drawing the same thing in the same style and theme. There are many artist i followed who got so much better with time because their exprienced with style, tried new coloring methodes and so on. While others never really improved, no difference in their skill between the years.

there is no trick, no speed trial to drawing. You either do it on daily base and just draw for fun no matter how shit your art looks and slowly improve or you just give up. It can take your years to produce something "ok" or just a few months, depends on your skill and how dedicated you are.

Yeah, people have to overcome the "it looks like shit" part when they are learning how to draw. Your art will not get better after 5 pics or 20 or 100. My friends who started drawing made hundreds of sketches/pictures that they never shared online. Artists just start a new account under a new name and upload art now that they can draw, most people only see this without the +hundreds of shit art part.
