My favourite stories are DeS and DaS because despite the crypticness, there are answers for everything in them. You can form a clear, coherent narrative of every major character and place, a timeline from the beginning to where you start all the way to the ending. But ever since, when I do that to the newer games, I just run into questions there aren't answers for - and not in a mysterious sense. Just an incomplete sense
