liquid shit lmao

what the fuck is even going on in that picture

That's the big problem with MMO's. Ally spells have so much visual noise you should be able to disable them.
Also, Blizzard are fucking awful at explaining mechanics which is why DBM exists.
Blizzard are a fucking joke.

Another reason XIV is a better game. Option to disable or minimize other player visuals and even your own. And fights don't require this fucking autism mess of mods and addons to be playable.

you can disable ally spells in FF14. It's practically mandatory for big alliance raids. There's also a reduced effect option and you can also set it to only show your won party.

Addons should be banned from WoW desu. Tehy only exist because WoW's UI is fucking trash.

>Also, Blizzard are fucking awful at explaining mechanics
Are those big purple circles not obvious enough for you retard?
Or the cast bars on the boss?

Let's play a game user. Circle the bosses normal cast timer. You lose if you circle a modded one!

DBM's existence counters whatever argument you're trying to put forward.

ffxiv's gameplay is dog and shit, raiding in this game will never be good

Most of the stuff in the screenshot aren't even ally abilities. Not even sure if I even see DBM in the screenshot either. Did you just make all that shit up?

it's a good thing that unlike worlo, finofano has more to offer than speedrunning raids every week for an entire year because blizzard's dangerhaired employees manage to find a different reason to do a walkout every week

yeah a single-player story nobody cares about

>he thinks that's it
blizzdrone...

wtf am I looking at?

On nameplates
On focus frame
On boss frames
Youre retarded, sorry.

he's right though
ally spells effects aren't an issue in wow because spells don't have anime attacks animations
and there's no dbm on that picture, only weakauras, raid cooldowns and dps/hps meters

Ooops sorry user. Those are from addons! Try again. The vanilla boss cast bar is hiding in there!

>focus frame is from addons
thanks for making it clear you don't know what youre talking about

The one he's using isn't vanilla and I don't see you circling your answers!

how can someone play with 3/4 of his screen blocked with shitty ass UI, words and whatever is there?

It doesnt need to be vanilla because the cast bar itself is baseline. Changing the text font or squaring the edges isnt a real difference
So back to the original question, how is having the cast bar in 3 places somehow not clear enough for you?

most of the bloat comes from the stream overlay

there's nothing vanilla there, he's using elvui and plater, it's all modded

lol

Tried to play your game, but can't seem to find the bar. Is it really there or just addons?

>ally spells effects aren't an issue in wow
Yes they are.
>only weakauras
Which is basically DBM, further proving me correct.

MMOs are made for braindead people that need babymode content. If you dont have that in your game people will just find ways to make the content easier for themselves.

Well, there's a slight red glow on the ground from ashen hollow and some little night fae blue thing near the bosses. And 2 little bars underneath the 5m gold tier thing on the right which I assume is DBM. But yeah, ally abilities and DBM are the problem and not everything else apparently

>no real argument
every time
just save yourself from embarrassment by not speaking next time you LFR trash

this is a friendly spell lol

Not a single ally spell effect is overwhelming in that image you dumb nigger
Moreover all of them are highly relevant for other players to see. If some retard tank decided he didnt want to see healing AoE I'd kick him on the spot

today's mmo in general are fucking shit

lol

Attached: ffxiv1.jpg (1920x1080, 738.87K)

>Not a single ally spell effect is overwhelming in that image you dumb nigger
Yes there is. There's red shit on the ground you don't have to move out of lol
>Moreover all of them are highly relevant for other players to see.
It's almost like you can use colours to explain what's friendly and what's damaging lol
wow players are fucking brain damaged i swear

Even as a shitpost image I can still tell what everything on screen is compared to the WoW clusterduck

that has 4 minutes cooldown and a reduced particles effects if you're not the caster
it's on OP's screenshot and you can barely notice it

Any time you're discussing this, you have to multiply it by 25 you fucking cretin

It's the first time I see people complain about Ashen Hollow
Truly this board is something

Attached: p2w.png (1295x302, 50.1K)

>make paladin spells and druid spells the same color
no nigger. Not all of us are special needs like you. Everyone knows what Ashen is, everyone knows that the purple circles are the boss spell, theres absolutely 0 confusion for those born without downs

>it's red and I don't have to move out of it?! bad design!
something's wrong with their brains. i don't even see ashen hollow on my screen after the first second or two, guess it's a setting or something

This picture perfectly encapsulates why I quit WoW. It didn’t even feel like a video game anymore. All you’re doing is looking at 50 different UI bars and watching numbers.

You genuinely have to be mentally ill to still be playing WoW after all these years.

like anything else, it is changed by particle density and projected textures. it also always fades in intensity past initial cast
Its a non issue

There's barely any red zone telegraphs in the game, it's not FFXIV where everything is telegraphed
And when there's something similar they are much more noticeable than Ashen Hollow

Attached: file.png (1920x1080, 2.45M)

>You genuinely have to be mentally ill to still be playing WoW after all these years.
only subhumans still play it. furries, addicted boomers and trannies.

>standing in red stuff is ok
Reminder. Any argument you make is invalid because DBM exists.

how am I supposed to tell whats going on here huh?
Those marks could be ANYTHING

still better than yoshitpiss' game

>its invalid BECAUSE I SAID SO OKAY
this is extreme cope. Turn on colorblind mode or whatever to fix your retardation

>no counter-argument
I accept your concession

You didnt make an argument, you just said its not valid after being blown out for this whole thread
You can keep repeating "b-but its red" forever, everyone with an IQ above room temp has no issue with that

>You didnt make an argument
I did, and your response was some sojposting because you lost the argument.

You didnt, you have no argument because youre not good enough to play the game or be remotely aware of what youre talking about
DBM has nothing to do with player spell effects
Player spell effects are not overwhelming because you can still clearly see whats happening in the picture in the OP
Red is not a magical color exclusive to damaging effects

well you're talking to someone who needs stuff like this to understand what is going on

Attached: stack arrows.jpg (515x272, 135.92K)

Also, everyone is just replaceable now. I don't even think you really need a guild to do anything anymore right? That picture implies they're just handing out gold to get warm bodies to farm gear?

The last actual fun I had was the high Mythic+ dungeons where people from my guild actually wanted me for my lock skills to clear them in Legion and would contact me while I was offline and such.

Went to FFXIV after that and apart from roguelikes it was more of the same, just randos doing rando shallow shit. What's the point of the multiplayer part anymore?

>You didnt
I did
>Player spell effects are not overwhelming because you can still clearly see whats happening in the picture in the OP
They're standing in red stuff. That's bad telegraphing.

there's no "red = bad" in wow, each boss have their own telegraphs
blue can be bad, green can be bad, red can be bad, black can be bad, white can be bad, it depends entirely on the boss you're facing

Theyre clearly able to identify the spell effect, as well as multiple people in this thread at a glance
thats objectively good telegraphing. Its instantly recognizable.
Again, try to get this through your skull:
Red is not a magical color that only means danger. It never has been, Ashen isnt even the first red player AoE

which is bad telegraphing which is why addons like gtfo, dbm and weakauras exist
you have no argument

>being recognizable is bad telegraphing
You have no argument, just some weird obsession with a color because you were the slow kid in class and got left behind

also keep in mind that this is one aspect of bad telegraphing that you lost the argument on. there's plenty more timing and UI issues as well
