Most rpgmaker games I'd recommend border on the violent side, the few that don't would be the aforementioned Ib, To The Moon, OFF and maybe Omori
Omori is a peculiar case, because you have to go through the equivalent of Muv-Luv Extra filler before you get to the good parts. 30 hours of boredom for 2 hours of great ending sequence probably isn't worth it
There's also Yume Nikki, but it pretty much consists solely of dream exploration with little to no story
