The level design is tight and the simplistic trick + graff system is just enough to keep thing from getting monotonous on rail. Then there's also missions, collectables, and unlockables, so you've got plenty to fucking do.

JSRF is a great game and wouldn't be such a fondly remembered experience if the game itself wasn't as enjoyable as the music.

Having a utterly fantastic soundtrack doesn't override or invalidate any other aspect of the game, it's part of the entire experience. If the game had not existed and someone had simply put out a random compilation album of all these tracks, I probably would have never listened to it more than once.
