Forgot what was about.

I agree on the tonal whiplash and I hope the sequel knows when to actually be serious, but Mizuki was one of my favorite characters so I don't mind her becoming the MC.

Some serial killer and a cop and then there was a body swapping and some amnesia.

Corrupt police trying to save their assassin cop vs corrupt politician trying to save his serial killer son (for his career), cops' though police machine lets you mind swap
by swaping assassin cop's brain with his yakuza boss they blow open the serial killer case, retardation and amnesia happens because nobody ever think to just fucking handcuff your mindswap victim to the chair (serial killer at least mods on a tranquilizer)
6 years later something something revenge alternate dimensions everything ends up back to normal

Forgot what it was about other than the obvious twist of body swapping and the cover loli has superman strength for some reason.
