The bats in Elden Ring actually sing a song.

This attention to detail is unsurpassed. Other games can't compete.

It'd probably take more effort to make up a song with fake lyrics than to just write one in Jap and translate it to Latin

The first time you come across them is kino.

Wow this really makes fighting random dragon boss number #8592894 so much more memorable. Thanks From. Good thing by the end of the game Michael Zaki adequately explains what tf the batladies are actually referring to...oh wait

Too bad 95% of the game is filler.

>average white women after 30

Just going to go out on a limb and say that they aren't bats, they're harpies.

But why do they sing in latin? whats the lore behind that?

only if you want to autistically explore every inch of the game
if you just do the mandatory shit the game is kino

japs think it's a fantasy language which never existed

latin is to nips what japanese is to weebs

>big open world game about exploration and adventure
>hur dur if you explore you're autistic
If you have to put thought and effort into avoiding certain content in a game to enjoy it, then it's poorly designed.

Why does everyone speak in various types of accents native to the UK? What's the lore behind that?

>This attention to detail is unsurpassed
That would be Witcher 3 actually

That's not a bat, it's a harpy, dipshit.

>fromdrone
The game isn't hard. I leveled up and got all my gear just from exploring
>fromdrone
If you just do the mandatory shit the game is kino
>fromdrone
Pick

NPCs speak in english. Why cant monsters speak in latin?

>bats
Why don't zoomers know what a siren is?

>writing nonsense is harder than writing lyrics and then translating them
holy mother of cope

125 seems like a good level to stop at, no?

I thought sirens were mermaids.

>it takes "effort" to gallop past something if you're not interested in it
retard

because yank accents are instant immersion breakers and aussies are too funny to be taken seriously

They're usually depicted that way nowadays but they were originally bird women.

I tried stopping at 125 and had like 500k souls in the counter by the time I got to the final boss, with basically nothing left to buy in any shop. I feel like the game pushes you to level to like 150 if you do everything and don't constantly lose souls.

Why not level up as much as you can? You can put the points into INT/FTH/ARC or whatever stat you're lacking and try out adding new fun weapons, spells, and strats to your existing build.

What if you're interested in exploring that part of the map but it's another copy paste garbage boss with trash rewards?

>gets mad at zoomers for not knowing what a mythological siren is
>refers to a classic mythological harpy as a "siren"

>yank accents are instant immersion breakers
Why is it okay for medieval fantasy characters in Disney films to have American accents but not medieval fantasy characters in video games?

Sirens are the ones that sing to trick you into coming closer you dumbshit.

>If you have to put thought and effort into avoiding certain content in a game to enjoy it
fortunately, this is not the case in ER

Yes but I think the bat ladies and their poison priests are just sad they're bats. I thought sirens were meant to be seductive and not wrinklebags singing sad songs

>bloodborne ripoff

Nta, but I remember sirens are found on the sea.

If you go too high you end up leaving the range of summoning or being summoned by other players. Helping others fight bosses is pretty fun. Plus if you can do it all on one character you lessen replayability for yourself because you wouldn't want to replay with a different build.

>I thought sirens were meant to be seductive and not wrinklebags singing sad songs
They are. That's part of their....lore. The whole song thing is mainly because of the Odyssey. In normal folklore it moreso implied that sailors often drowned beside that rock because they were enticed by the sirens' beauty and would take them into the ocean with them after climbing aside their ship (and then in some accounts devour their bodies)

I am pretty sure the whole falling asleep thing is just a Dark Arisen reference anyway

im not giving your video views

>muh deep lyrics
You are like a little baby, watch this
youtube.com/watch?v=lclt459JpVQ

the winged scythe and serpent bow both mention paganism.

elden ring takes place on an alternate earth.

Do you think paganism is referring to a specific religion or something?

>and aussies are too funny to be taken seriously
Oi

because its a medeival fantasy and anlgo accents pretty much defined that period. its immersive as fuck.

do you know what the word means big brain?

Hi guys :))
What did you think of my cover of this amazing song from Elden Ring?
Leave a like and subscribe ty ;)

kys autistic faggot

Most brit accents were manufactured from thin air a few hundred years ago. If you want it to be really immersive, then give the characters Boston accents.

>medeival fantasy and anlgo accents pretty much defined that period
What a retarded thing to say.

>not knowing what a mythological siren is
How can people be so ignorant these days? Especially about overdone shit?

>miss the meeting where we all got together and invented what our accent is now the Americans are heading off to the colony and taking the universal old accent with them
>wind up having to be a Brummie because all the good accents were taken taken and grafted to the spider
Times were hard back then.

What do you mean? The elves in Dota: Dragon's Blood all have Australian accents...

That's the only fantasy series I can think of that has bogan accents though.

Find the flaw.
You can't.

Because Disney is America's greatest propaganda machine.

This song will haunt my memories forever.

they sing the halo theme

Hey um... kinda weird question.. but uh...
do you have any pics of your feet? X3

I remember when people hailed Skyrim as the best thing ever because the game was centered around the gimmick of fighting the same dragons a dozen times. Now in Elden Ring, it's suddenly such a terrible thing to have some optional dragon fights in the game?

They really exaggerate the reused bosses complaints. Its dumb. Theres like 80 unique enemies in the game. its actually insane the amount of variety there is, and the variations are different enough to not feel shitty.

Just discord trannies who hate success and feel inferior, nothing more.

Elden KINO

They’re trying to gaslight.

>because yank accents are instant immersion breakers
This.
No offense to American anons, but your accents are boring as shit.
The only interesting accents in America are the deep south accent, the Boston accent, and the midwestern accent.

>I remember when people hailed Skyrim as the best thing ever because the game was centered around the gimmick of fighting the same dragons a dozen times
only drooling retards ever said things like that

my wife is seriously starting to look like this but I don't have the heart to break up with her since she's pregnant

The problem isn't that they reuse enemies, it's that they reuse enemies poorly and lazily. Limgrave has so much content that it's overwhelming and you're getting a ton of new shit thrown at you when you start the game, but then later on the game thins out because they blew their load early. They should have held back on introducing a lot of enemies until later to keep the game feeling fresh. They should have put some thought into where they reuse enemies as well. Why the fuck are there Caelid dogs in the Mountaintops of the Giants? It just makes no fucking sense, if you're gonna reuse them then put them in Lake of Rot instead you fucking hack devs.

it's not that english accents
>defined that period
whatever the fuck that means but that
1: the american accent 100% bound to modernity and doesnt suit any settings prior to that
2: english voice actors are better than american ones in 100% of cases
3: english accents sound old more or less

Unless she got some horrible skin disease, she was ugly from the start. You just had shit taste.

>english voice actors are better than american ones in 100% of cases
