I prefer something more like no more heroes where its short, explores its themes with toilet humour and doesn't take itself seriously. its a lot more endearing.

I'm still calling bullshit on the whole "the machines were created by aliens" story. I think the machines are transferred human souls. It would explain the human behavior. I know there is a crashed alien ship, but I think that was coincidental and a convenient cover for the android leaders to lie to the other androids. Replicant showed that some of the shades could be intelligent, and may have hastily continued the project before the Replicants killed all of them off. They couldn't transfer into their corresponding Replicant anymore and instead used crudely constructed robots like in Automata.

I feel like most of the haters are like me and haven't finished more than 2 routes.
However, people who actually finished the whole thing are likely to have thought the game was already amazing to begin with (so they could actually make it to the end)

I was hyped for the game and enjoyed the demo.
Immediately felt the buyers remorse set in as soon as I got dropped into the open world, but I powered through it all the way to ending [e] to get my money's worth.
Wasn't worth the time or money.

i platinumed the game and i think it's barely a 5/10.

I didn't like the combat, it seemed either one hit ko galore or just too easy so I just played it for the story and the comfy feelings I had listening to the ost and seeing the scenery. It was a good experience but I can see how someone would say it sucks as a videogame.

Game was boring and story wasn't half as good as people hyped it up to be.
A shame too since I'm a Platinum fanboy so the combat should has resonated with me but its really not enough to carry a long RPG, especially when the combat is some of the most shallow combat I've seen in a Platinum game.
I was also looking forward to finally playing something by the big "Yoko Taro" but it was just shallow misery porn without very much meaning.

If you had bothered to finish the game (or at least get past ending B), you'd know that both storyline and game mechanics change drastically from "feelings", and stale, respectively. On the latter, if you played on Hard you'd be forced to get creative with attacks or get fucked.
Granted, the entire dilemma feels like someone making a story out of what was learned on Phylosophy 101, but it is good enough to move the game forward. And you do need to not be a scrub to do Hard. If you decided to hack your way through, I can't blame you for thinking it is boring. Such is the life of a scrub.

The problem Begins as soon as "Do they Think-" full stop the conversation is over, They can already think, They are alive end transmission.
