Is this actually fun? I have a lot of nostalgia for the original lego star wars but I haven't touch a lego game since then.

I think its really fun, im about 8 hours in now and I started episode 2 not long ago. The free roam is huge and theres a lot to do on each planet, I've seen quests and puzzles of all sorts, like races, chasing down people and finding hidden stuff.

I really like the combat with guns and lightsabers, also surprisingly enjoy the skill-tree, its deeper than I thought for a lego game.
Nostalgia hits hard for me, I played the 3 first lego games and have also watched every movie so I really enjoy it.

I was also surprised by the fact that you can collect 1160 fucking bricks, so yeah gonna stick with this game for a while.

So don't crucify me cause these lego games are confusing as hell, Is this like a remake of the older sagas with new ones included? Or is it like an all in one kind of deal or a new game all together?

Yeah levels are played differently and they're connected through visiting planets and locations on them in the canon sequence. It's really fun, but I feel like you need to be a fan of collectathons such as Super Mario Odyssey to really get your worth out of it. There's around 1,100 kyber (gold) bricks.
