Why not?
Five fingers five buttons simple as
the pinky is a real man's pride faggot
>Actual guitars utilize 22-24 frets across six strings
>Have trouble with five buttons
Bitch
To make the player move his hand.
ah i have to move my hand down the freboard. My cowboy chords!
>can 5 star songs on hard without much trouble
>completely shit the bed in 30 seconds for any song on expert
It's the Guitar Hero equivalent of being a midwit I guess.
>not playing on regular controller
some expert songs are ass to play, i think i got filtered by reign of blood or something in gh3
learning how to shift your hand for the orange button is ascendance
hard mode and below will be too easy, except the insane endgame tracks
Are the parts of the different Rock Band controllers interchangeable? I have a Rock Band 4 guitar I like a lot, but I can't stand the batteries it requires and want to get a wired RB1 controller and swap out the strum bar and buttons.
you move your pinky over. just play medium. its like complainjng that dark souls needs an easy mode
It's a worse feeling to only be able to play a handful of songs on expert, and needing to drop to hard for the rest.
its just practice. start with the easy songs if you can beat the game on hard, you should be able to do the first bit on expert
Moving my pinky isn't fun. I want to move my thumb.
are there any good non $200 guitars? I wanna play van halen again but my guitar just fucking disappeared.
>play real guitar competently
>cannot play GH on hard for the life of me
It's a completely different animal. If you have any GH skills, transition before they're wasted
Because it would be a borderline babies toy if it had as many buttons for your fingers.
Why
You're probably just shit at guitar dood
Shoulda been like this from the beginning. Would have made doing scales and chords a lot more fun.
What were they thinking with that select button?
I doubt you play real guitar competently if you think they are anything remotely similar. five frets on a single string which is what GH is, is nowhere near what actual guitar is like, especially since you can't play chords on a single string.
>2 feet
>4 buttons
what were they thinking
>competently
>can't even play on a single string
>one thumb
>six buttons
what the...
Depending on the game you might be playing a shit chart. A lot of the """official""" Megadeth charts suck dick and the only good ones are fanmade.
>guitarsgarden.com
meant controllers, but ty. I do have a collection of cheap electrics & acoustics
Is Goodwill still overflowing with Wii GH3 controllers? You can use those with a USB adapter.
This would be kino.
I got a wii controller for like 20 on ebay, which was less than the PC adapter which is like 30.
You’re supposed to use your hands for the other two.
Rock Band drums at a party are the only reason an awkward shy loser like me ever got laid in high school, so I'll always be thankful for Harmonix. Playing live in an actual band was terrifying though, only did that shit once and felt like I was gonna throw up the whole time, so the plastic toy drums are good enough for me.
>Being filtered by any official expert chart
kek
Although it's still a retard version of guitar, if you wanted something more complicated, just get a real guitar. The 5 buttons are perfectly fine for people screwing around and having fun playing a video game. Hell, as much as I hate South Park, they said it the best, if you play guitar hero to be good, you're literally a fag.

go speed up some more clone hero videos to get another """world first""" fc
>reign of blood
its raining blood you fucking hippy faggot

My third eye has opened, thank you user.
u right
i was half thinking of reign in blood, the album
i don't listen to slayer anyways because they suck ass ROFL

I'm not that much of a no-life loser to tryhard in fucking Guitar Hero, but thinking that any official expert chart is difficult means you're an actual baby or your hand-eye coordination is fucked from all the glue you sniffed as a child.
I play both, actually. They're two very distinct experiences for me. I just think that controller would raise the skill ceiling in GH significantly without affecting accessibility for newcomers.
Also, some songs are genuinely way more fun to play in GH than on a real guitar. Like Jordan, DWDTG, and Monkey Wrench.
ok sperg
>perfecting Jessica
help me anons, do I use my thumbs for the center panel?
What were they thinking?!
>only ever FC'd one song
>it was fucking nickleback
You use your dick.
>100% everything on medium
>try hard
>orange notes everywhere
Nah, I'm good.
I play games to have fun.
>genuinely way more fun to play in GH than on a real guitar. Like Jordan
Kek, like you knew how fun it was
once you learn how to take off your shoes to press the center button and put them back on the game becomes piss easy
holy shit you could eat soup out of those sunken panels
That's a toe stub waiting to happen
>taught myself to slide my index finger for Red and Green
>able to 5 star or FC majority of songs on expert
>never bothered to learn the proper way to play higher difficulty songs
Real guitar anons, how the fuck do I play without constantly looking back and forth at the frets and strumming?
t. just started learning
>Kek, like you knew how fun it was
Jordan isn't that hard to play on a real guitar. Fast doesn't mean good. Although I do love the song, playing it bores me because the solos are borderline mindless shredding.
I love his music, but his skills are about on par with tom morello or van halen. Fast and quirky, but not necessarily talented.
decades of practice
even then you never really stop looking back and forth
>on par with tom morello or van halen
This can only come from someone who doesn't really know how to shred at all
The biggest plepfilter of them all.
The best way I can sum it up is, you learn to see with your fingers. Think of it like holding a game controller - you don't have to look at it every time you press a button because your muscle memory knows where every button is. Most instruments are like that, but requiring much more practice.
Neither of them shred, I never said that.
This can only come from someone who doesn't know basic guitar vernacular.
Buckethead and VH don't shred? kek
you don't know how to guitar yet, maybe you think that you do
just keep your hand resting on red to orange, then you only need to move your index finger to hit green
Drums on RB was always fun too
