more enemies
multiple dungeons that blend the best of both classic zelda and botw's hyrule castle dungeon approach.
ability to 'reinforce' weapons, as a means to improve durability issues (see )

Discard that faggot link
Play as zelda

Making it like Elden Ring

>more enemies variety
>take away that STUPID voice acting and anime tropes
that's it. I trust everything else they do

maybe...
>sympathetic/antihero/redemption arc Ganondorf (something along those lines)

Attached: zelda.jpg (2048x1185, 342.79K)

Oh great more Ganondorf, it's not like it had been done like 10+ times already

last time he was in a game was 2007. Don't get me wrong, I'm open to anyone really. I just hate hate hate the "fight generic evil nebulous thing" trope you see in Japanese games.

Have actual unique content. Not the same 500 enemy camps, 60000 korok seeds, repetitive mini dungeons etc.
I really hope that was only because the engine and physics tools etc. took up a lot of the development time. If it's just the same again but with the sky and underground then what's the point.

Release it on the switch 2 to milk the retarded fanbase and make it only exclusive to that console, no but seriously screencap after 6 years and not even any gameplay videos on a game with the same engine and map? Lol they are gonna butt fuck nin toddlers with a new console JUST WATCH!

Having shrines/mini dungeons is fine, they should just have larger more complex dungeons to supplement them.

Actual dungeons, progression, difficulty, variety, and depth. Kill off botw zelda, replace her with a better girl and have a decent story. Story doesn't need to be frontloaded or in your face, just something to build up to so the climax isn't a wet fart like calamity ganon.

What is ‘progression’ in Zelda? Getting a red tunic?

Here I brought a bucket just for you sweeties

Allow 'garaging' of bears and other non-conventional mounts
Maybe chance Zelda's VA
More interactivity
Save and select recipes instead of selecting the ingredients over and over

Combat Wise:
>Remove Flurry rush, it's too broken
>Add a taunt which rewards you in some way
>Give weapons a actual moveset
>Give charge combos some weight to them, they feel too floaty
>Add some pause combos, encourage timing your attacks instead of mashing
>Make difficulty modes good instead of regen health, alot of action games have made much better compromises i.e Bayo1 and even DMC1 did it better
A DMC1 shop system would work wonders for the combat.

I loved BotW, favorite Zelda, but this is what I would fix.

>Item Durability is out the window
If you have to reduce the damage they do, or fix some of their properties or how easy they are found (for instance Wizzrobe dropping Rods) then do so.
>Dungeons
Make for a total of 12 dungeons in specific locations that force you to visit regions, not including a Sky Dungeon.
>Enemy Variety
While I'm glad Lynels are back, we could use Dark Nuts/Iron Knuckles, Poes, Tektites (since Guardians will be gone), ReDeads/Gidbos, Beamos, Armos (one might be in the game according to the trailer), Dodongo, Peahats, Gohmas.
>More Item Variability
It has tons, but bring back the Hookshot like they originally wanted to, give some Iron Boots (for underwater exploration), Slingshot (this would say stun enemies rather than the Arrows), Roc's Cape (Double Jump), Canes (for Puzzles), Medallions (For Magic), etc.

Do those things and it'll smash every other Zelda in existence.

>kill off botw Zelda
Her ass is a miracle of the universe.

fanart isn't canon she bends over for a second in one scene and that's all anyone likes her for, she'd be despised by the universe otherwise

She has a nice ass, you can clearly see it in a lot of scenes, Age of Calamity not included. Also she's a fun butthurt lil science nerd. You just don't like her voice, which is understandable, but she's definitely much better than most Zeldas, with exception to a specific couple.

I don't like her personality nor her appearance, but that's more the game's style

the obvious fix is the shrines and beasts, they sucked. only areas I enjoyed outside of the overworld were hyrule castle, trial of the sword, and final trial for the master cycle.

second fix is proper enemy difficulty scaling. I hate when games just add bigger health pools to higher level enemies and change nothing else. they aren't more difficult to fight. it's the same shitty AI as a low level fight. just takes 10 times longer. it's lazy and boring.

So you'd rather her have no personality like the vast majority of Zeldas?

Remove durability or I won't buy it. Yes that's a threat.

I'd rather she not be spiteful and annoying
having no zelda is better than botw zelda, it's good she's falling down that pit in botw2 so she'll be gone most of the game again at least

unironically this

She's gone for most of BotW too and she's only spiteful in like 3 cutscenes and then actually changes as a character. Also why isn't she allowed to be spiteful? It's not like Tetra and ST Zelda are the same character either, or SS Zelda or TP Zelda. All of them are different, just like all of the Links are largely different based on various context clues you get from certain characters.

Do you not like the Hero of Time because his regret becomes a spiteful shade that lingers around?

>dude just completely change an adventure game into an action/boss-rush game

If they won't make 'classic' dungeons, then make them like the Shrine of Resurrection's labyrinth. This was easily more fun than any of the Beasts, even if getting here was a fucking slog.

>remove flurry rushing
>remove the ability to heal from the pause menu, make it so you have to heal in real time, ala Hollow knight or, better yet, Monster hunter
>remove autosaves and make it so you can only save in certain areas like a town. Really drive home that the adventure is a perilous one
>increase the difficulty of shrines, and whatever collectible they replace koroks with, increase their difficulty too. Also, cut down on them so they feel like more of a treat to find. I don't feel the need to collect them all, but they're too numerous that I visibly groan upon finding one
>no more idiotic story restrictions (you can't climb a divine beast because... YOU JUST CAN'T)
>finite inventory to match your finite weapon storage. No more hoarding healing items
>no cringeworthy anime story
>weapon durability is actually fine with me, I don't mind if it stays
>improve the enemy AI so your average bokoblin isn't a blithering idiot

Attached: smug mario.jpg (1272x1280, 170.15K)

Grant the ability to reforge weapons or improve their quality.

hero of shade isn't an annoying screecher that fucked everything up over his spite

BotW Zelda didn't either. It's not like her spite actually caused any problems at all. She was already struggling to use Hylia's power before Link even came along, and she still struggled after she started getting along with Link too. The only one who actually fucked things up was the King who refused to listen about the Guardians/Divine Beasts. It's not like they expected Ganon to take them over either.

Also Hero's Shade actually fucked up more shit entirely because he refused to teach his skills to anybody that wasn't worthy, which those skills could have gone a long way towards Hyrule's Army when Zant attacked. Even if it wouldn't have done anything, it would have slightly helped to some degree. It's not like a lot of his moves are entirely insane and impossible anyway.

>No more hoarding healing items
Healing items are finite. You can just have a fuck ton more of them in comparison.
>No cringe worthy anime story
That's basically Zelda, it's always been that.

For me it's Genshin Impact

Attached: deja vu.webm (666x360, 2.89M)

tpbp

>Healing items are finite.
Not only is 3 pages way too much, but you forget that you can INFINITELY hoard regular items, and turn them into healing items whenever you're near a fire. I don't think there's even an upper limit on how much useless trash you can keep in your inventory, so your healing items are basically infinite. They had such a good idea with weapon limits, and then threw that out when it came to your items.

CLIMBING IN THE RAIN GOD DAMN IT.

At least make a set of armor upgrade to that ability for fuck's sake. I fucking hate exploring a new area only to get sidelined for legit 10+ real time minutes because a couple storms are rolling through and I need to get up to something

Attached: david parker ray.jpg (306x423, 33.08K)

It always knows when you want to explore too or buy an item. I remember needing an ancient core early on for the Stasis Upgrade and there is that one merchant from Hateno that travels, but only sells it during the rain. It wouldn't rain for weeks in game, and when it did, it would only rain for like 2 minutes and his AI wouldn't register it as a rainy day special. Meanwhile after I finally got that, I would go to try and explore various mountains and stuff for Koroks, wouldn't rain for ages while I was on the ground running around, moment I needed to climb something, it'd start a thunderstorm for the next hour.

Game is evil.

I gotcha, bro!

Just have more traditional dungeons and more enemy variety. Everything else is absolutely perfect.

She didn't give Link the slate out of jealousy despite knowing he was the chosen hero so Link was blindsided and unprepared for Ganon taking over. My rule of thumb for female characters is to think about what if they were a man instead and if I suddenly become far less lenient with their behavior or fuckups then I'm only giving them a simp pass for being a woman. I don't mean stuff like normal feminine or girly behavior, but for genuine character flaws and screwups.
I liked BotW Zelda less and less the more I saw of her. If people didn't want to fuck her, she would be hated.

Oh yes because "Nooooooooooooooooo if I kill him I'll be just like himmmmmm noooooooooooooooooo" cuckery in every western trash is so much better.
Kill yourself. Ganondorf is evil he doesn't need a redemption.

>mongoloids who've never created anything worthy in their miserable lives think they can "fix" one of the greatest games of all time with their nigger brained ideas
the lack of self awareness will never cease to amaze

user I think the takeaway was supposed to be that Ganondorf is better than a giant angry cloud called Ganon.

Link being the chosen hero wouldn't have mattered for shit in regards for the slate dumbass.
Zelda could have use it on a sheihka tower but basically none where about at the time and no one knew they needed the slate. Christ it's the second cut scene in the game, link activates the half burried tower, this activates other towers + shrines.
They are lucky to get the restoration pod working.
BotW didn't do shit wrong, at all. Her Father even admits this in his dairy.
Play the game fag ass.

>completely change the combat engine, it's too broken to be fixed by something as minor as weapon durability
>add at least 20 new enemy types
>add 5 REAL dungeons with items
>get rid of the WiiU tablet
>add caves and mini-dungeons
>get rid of the terrible voice acting
>summon/de-spawn your horse from anywhere
>nerf climbing

The malice ganon is basically phantom ganon.
Getting actual ganondorf might have been better but he's in the sequel so whatever. He still wanted a redemption arc either way which is big gay.

Bros I got the motorcycle.

see

What would it have mattered if he had the slate or not? It's not like it would have helped him against a legion of Guardians. Zelda/Hylia is the only reason he survived that in the first place. Also the entire point of the slate and some of those cutscenes was that they were still trying to figure out exactly how the slate worked, specifically Zelda was trying to figure it out because she was vastly smarter than Link in terms of science. BotW doesn't do anything wrong in terms of what she is actually doing other than her own insecurities at herself because of her father's/family's demands on her in terms of what she is supposed to be when it comes to Hylia and her powers. Which is an understandable demand. Imagine being born into a Kingdom that has seen peace for 10,000 years and you're told about how your ancestors all have this magic gift and now the world is shifting and its your turn again and they expect you to lead this glorious conquest against the return of the King of Evil? Like it's a lot to toss on a 17 year old girl's plate, especially when some random kid who eats rocks comes along who happened to find some random ass Sword and is shown praise and adoration, who has already fulfilled his destiny basically. Even then she gets over her insecurities in regards to Link and starts to look at him fondly and even bonds with him very clearly in the flashback cutscenes after enough time. It's also Zelda that guides Link to how to use the slate in the first place after he wakes up. On top of that without her Link would be dead, Ganon would have destroyed Hyrule, and various other things would have happened. Link didn't do shit other than kill some enemies at the time and ultimately defeat Ganon once he returned. Link is a good fighter and even he has his limits. Zelda's magic literally helps save the Kingdom long enough for Link to deal with the aftermath and armies. Hating her for 2 cutscenes is ridiculous.

>sympathetic/antihero/redemption arc Ganondorf (something along those lines)
no thanks

Attached: 1444573567306.gif (147x154, 565.13K)

The sheikah made the slate, they knew about it. Impa knew about it. How do you think Zelda came to know about it? Zelda couldn't use it for anything other than taking pictures. At the end of the day she withheld it out of jealousy regardless of any future outcome. Zelda fucked up and played a big role in getting everyone killed and destroying her own kingdom. The king doesn't cover any of that, only that he shouldn't have placed such heavy responsibilities on her.

IMO they should go in harder with weapon durability. Give me the ability to repair weapons and everything is good.

>loading game please wait
Epic

more enemies variety and bosses.
thats it.

Nah, they'll have Ganondorf be a parallel to Zelda. His backstory this time will be that he realized he was becoming evil (and Skyward Sword will be fellated even more heavily) so he did some stuff you wouldn't think a Ganon would do in order to get around it. Oh and Hylia does something REALLY IMPORTANT GUYS. In the end, he'll lose the battle and become the 'real' Ganondorf, but oh man doesn't that make you sad because he's, like, not really evil :(((( Doesn't that just make you want to praise Skyward Sword's story? :((((((((

contrarian fags, probably whine about the "chosen one" trope to fit in on Yea Forums too

Playable Zelda and Bokoblin rape mechanics.

yeah dont move any faster than that or you'll break the game

>most Zelda games have boss fights similar to lower stakes dark souls boss fights
>Ocarina of Time had 3D boss battles similar to modern dark souls in 98
?

>more variety with enemies
>either no more weapon durability or at least a way to make weapons more durable/repairable
>actual dungeons that are themed differently than one another, with different unique bosses in the end
>more NPCs and side quests, especially if they're like Tarrey Town where you're helping people rebuild after basically going through the apocalypse
>give NPCs actual dialogue, text only dialogue was garbage two years ago and it's just lazy for a giant studio to do it now
>if the majority of the locations in the game are going to be shrines again, there needs to be more aesthetic themes to them instead of all of them looking exactly the same, and they need to offer more unique challenges instead of like 1/6 of them being fights with the same exact enemy
>also we need more unique concept shrines like Eventide Island, which was like nothing different in the game

Attached: funny spear.png (616x717, 451.29K)

I have no issue with Ganondorf returning or the chosen one shit (when it's done right) but making long-time/old villains sympathetic or redeemable is always a shitty subversion, Ganondorf is great because he plays into his own villainy, that shouldn't be undermined for some shitty sob story

>forgetting that WW Ganondorf regretted his actions and actually looked back in hindsight that maybe he was part of the problem that led to the Gerudo's ultimate downfall and persecution

>"damn maybe I fucked up somewhere"
>still kidnapped and beat the shit out of children to get what he wants

Lichdorf might only have one [1] scene showing anything about his life, but this does not seem like the depiction of a good man.
