Jack's game thread
Meme chaos game was already forgotten
either that or everybody's playing it
lmao
nobody is playing it, nobody cares
I love his game. Best combat I’ve ever played.
Bullshit
EACH CAREFUL STEP
ALONG THE BYWAY
EGS exclusive, too expensive, Elden Ring just came out (and it sucked), hard to give too much of a shit. I'll play it in a year or so.
10000 hours in photoshop
I SEE CUBES
Bullshit.
I liked it better than Elden Turd (:
I don't get the ending
how did everyone came back to life? Did Astos come back as well?
Why did the Princess remember Garland but not the rest of the kingdom?
What was the final boss?
Hope they at least fix the performance at some point.
BUT THROUGH IT AAAAALLLLL
WHEN THERE WAS DOUBT
I ATE IT UP
AND SPIT IT OUT
>bullshit
>dont give a fuk who you are
IS the game actually funny outside of those two scenes? I love meme dialogue like RE4 but it seems like most people don't talk about the rest of the game which has me worried
Astos is alive in FF1, so he would be alive, though he will get merked by the warrior of light in an easy boss fight, I don't think they say outright why Sarah remembers, but I assume it's because she has a crystal, I don't remember it being said, but it seems logical enough to me. The final boss is just what it says, the manifestation of darkness.
Reminder that this game was just the first step in the Nomuraverse and now he has reason to fuck around with any existing Final Fantasy game.
He already used it to shit on XV again.
>Jack resets time after the final boss. Original Astos comes back as a crown stealing nigger.
>She somehow has Jacks memory egg from another timeline I think? I don't really understand this either to be honest.
>Darkness manifesting itself by mixing with Jack's anger.
I'd say the funny stuff is frontloaded, and the good stuff that's actually jsut good and not just funny is backloaded, but there are more funny moments than just those two still. Jack interrupts characters or ignores them whenever they want to speak up about something for almost the whole game and it's usually funny, and there are some other good moments like when he gloats about finding out Chaos exists. "Bullshit" is definitely the funniest it gets though, and it still is mostly frontloaded with that stuff like I said.
It's more just cheesey edginess and badassery for a while, while you uncover the hidden plot, then it goes full "watch the world burn". It's pretty good.
>shows up in FF7R Part 2
Nothing personel
>haha your game didn't reach mainstream status
and that's a good thing!
i dont understand the cyclic warrior class
It and Chaosbringer don't seem worthwhile to me, especially when there's so many strong options that won't cost you your max MP you could be doing instead.
Just beat it today. Kino ending
What's the name for this template? I love these.
You could probably just look up God Hand Yea Forums comic or something.
Hmm, designs seem a bit similar.
Enjoying it so far, I just beat tiamat.
Haven't found any job I like more than marauder though.
Trying to decide on a good subjob, ideally something that can build MP super fast so I can switch back to Marauder and do more charged R2's.
White Mage (or sage once you unlock it) pretty much feels like the mandatory 2nd job to me because why the fuck would I ever not want to have haste active.
Tyrant has a command ability that make it so you restore more MP with normal hits and it automatically extends itself the more normal hits you get in, unlike other buffs that just last a set period of time.
Someone explain this games story/ending to me.
Jack was chaos the whole time or what?
he killed chaos and become chaos so he can end the chaos circle and to fuck the guys who were manipulating the chaotic reality/universe
It fucking worked, thanks user.
There was a note saying that they were going to wipe his memories and dispose of him.
There are some more chuckle-worthy moments later, my favorite is when Jed said “You know memories are precious” and Jack responded with “if it’s so precious then keep it to yourself”, but the more memeworthy moments are all frontloaded.
Look! Pubes!
Any relatively easy endgame builds to farm for as I progress through CHAOS difficulty? As in, ones that don't require a bunch of artifacts/specific gear pieces or anima crystals to unlock 50 different level 300 missions.
I already have DRK 400 BER 250 and that one's alright, but was wondering if there are any other fun combos I could mess with before I get better gear.
to bad not for pc
Why the FUCK aren't they adding transmog as part of a dlc or something? And they STILL haven't fixed matchmaking yet? fuuuuuck.
Do they ever explain what the cubes are? I don't think they're mentioned in any of the lore notes I found.
Having to sit through this, flashback and all, when I kept doing the Chaos Advent/Astos/Darkness Manifest mission was so annoying, I wish the flashback part at least would only happen the first time.
Probably just some Lufenian shit, I expect they didn't put that much thought into their role in the world, they're just there for their role mechanically.
Makes sense, I just find it funny that they have a bunch of voiced lines for ARE THOSE CUBES? As if that actually meant anything
Name a more shilled game on Yea Forums than this
I'm playing through it now actually and it's awesome.
Elden Ring
Jack blurting out
>ARE YOU CHAOS?!
To one of the fiends is the funniest fucking shit I have ever seen. Jack is Gold.
I want to play jack's game...
I don't give a FUCK about the Epic Store!
It's one of the best games I've played in years, but Yea Forums has dogshit taste and the threads are always shat up by a schizo with a bone to pick with the game.
Sarah remembers Jack because he gave her his dark crystal in one of the previous loops. One of the notes says that dark crystals ignore resets which is why they can function as memory banks. So she just kept it between resets.
i'll try it since i'm a nioh slut but shit, jack really looks like a dork
is it a game where you can commit to a style or you're gonna juggle between jobs?
I hope we get a Staff weapon in the DLCs like Nioh's Splitstaff
Was Chaos actually killed? Did Law win?
i just finished the game, man i feel a bit disappointed in the final boss, design wise at least, i was expecting more like Feral chaos from Dissidia
He looks cool.
You'll want to juggle jobs at first to unlock them all, after that you can just play whatever you want.
