Dying game.
Dying game
Oh no Steam bros we've lost 1/3 of our player base in just a few hours.
It's over.
I'm glad the honeymoon phase for this game is finally over and more and more players are seeing how trash it is
Counting down the days until the discussion slows down and you feel safe enough to crawl out from your discord?
why are you so obsessed with discord?
its going to be remembered as one of the best open world games of all time, and has set a new standard, you're just seething
>422,018 people have quit boredom ring with the release of lego star wars
oh no no no cling clangbros... is it really over for real this time...?
>more and more players are seeing how trash it is
like who? 99% of people i see are giving nothing but praise. and actually, the 1% i do see is mostly contrarians on Yea Forums who havent even played the game, spamming the same bait threads over and over.
Cope.
You must be into some real gayass retard shit if you think ER is trash.
Single player game that has been out for 5 weeks. Most people have finished it.
Show me another single player game that had 500,000+ active players after 5 weeks.
Hardmode: non of Todd's games.
And yes, the cat is real.
>Play game
>Finish game
>Be done with it
This isn't a live service, all they care about is you buying the game once. Which A LOT of people did.
I wonder how many times he will post this thread today
Holy shit half a million still
Your final bosses are Elliot Page and Cosmic Butter Dragon, Ellen Ring is peak discord
Yet we're still getting 8 threads about it daily
Not playing until they fix this glitch abuse shitfest
>over half a million two and a half months after release
eldenchads... I fucking kneel... please go easy on my sissy butthole...
No I just have taste you low value peasant. Enjoy your souls game for normies you fucking queer
>and has set a new standard
HOW? Are you from drones fucking high? The open world is barren and empty. There's LITERALLY only 3 types of dungeons (catacombs, sewers, hero's grave). There are NO fucking towns with npcs aside from the roundtable and a lesser extent the volcano manor. Side Quests are poorly made because they're vague (half of them don't even tell you the location or how to get there) and far too easy to fail (killing a boss or going in the wrong area can literally end a quest).
TES and Fallout games are still the standard for open world.
>TES and Fallout games are still the standard for open world
r/games
Sounds like you just don't like souls games. Seethe harder bitchnigga.
Because it's more vile than here.
i finished it. now i'm just waiting for the dlc.
>Sounds like you just don't like souls games
I've played up to the mountains so far. Also, not an argument
Not an argument. Elden Ring is a piss poor open world game. The combat is good, the lore is good, and the bosses are challenging but the actual open world, side quests, factions and exploration is dogshit.
>Elden Ring is a piss poor open world game
name a better one
inb4 the barren wasteland that is botw
Breath of the Wild
Skyrim
Oblivion
Morrowind
Fallout 3
The Witcher 3
Gothic 1 and 2
Dragon's Dogma
Assassin's Creed Origin
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
literaly cope, elden ring already cemented itself in pop culture and will be remembered for decades to come. shazam lost
>Assassin's Creed Origin
>Assassin's Creed Odyssey
>Better than Elden Ring
Its easier to just say, "I am retarded"
It's a good game but the actual open world is dogshit. It's as wide as an ocean but as deep as a puddle, which is ironically what people accused Skyrim of being, and Skyrim is twice as deep in terms of exploration and open world content
>desperate strawman
96 metacritic (bloodborne is 92)
15+ million copies sold
Industry defining game.
cope, seethe, dilate, repeat.
everything except Gothic on that list is fucking garbage try again fag
Lmao as a gothic nigga i can confirm this nog here had not played them and used them for clout.
I said there OPEN WORLD aspects. Beautiful setpieces, a world choked full of content; dozens of side quests in area, each with their own story
Not an argument.
those games >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Elden Ring when it comes to an open world you can explore
i love you
You're profoundly mentally ill and unironically nobody loves you.
Shazam won.
no way that is real
None of those are better than ER :)
This nigga even listed ass creed lmao
it has less content than any ubisoft open world game, and even more copy paste shit somehow
cope.
I pray that one taste pallet improves and you can enjoy a real open world game
Based desperate baiter.
You listed ass creed as a good game. You are a clown.
jesus christ hang yourself, what a complete dogshit list
>OPEN WORLD aspects
>Beautiful setpieces
Elden Ring mogs every single game on that list in terms of setpieces
>a world choked full of content
have you even played ER? Do you need to look at the map maybe if you didn't? And you DARED put shit like Odyssey with its 50 photocopied military outposts on your list? God damn dude
I just bought it the other day!
>talking up ass creed games
Lol
Lmao even
it's been more than a month, literally everyone already finished it.
this isn't a mmo, you're supposed to finish it and move on.
your mother is dying because she took too many cocks up her ass
stating facts isn't bait. I honestly had more fun exploring Ancient Greece over Nokron and the Capital. There was more content, there stories to enjoy, companions to engage with, and beautiful setpieces to look at. You see the ubisoft title on the cover and like an npc you regurgitate "Ubisoft!BAD!!!!" because that's what Yea Forums told you to think and you can't think for yourself
Peak zoomer troll
all of those games are shit except morrowind, oblivion and maybe dragon's dogma and only morrowind has a better world'
That's actually enormous for a mostly single-player player game. Hell, that's enormous even by multiplayer standards.
still doing better than monster hunter rise
Odyssey was as wide as an ocean and as deep as a pool faggot, I guess there really are some people out there who like doing the same thing on repeat for 100+ hours
>have you even played ER?
see
Elden Ring is as wide as an ocean and as deep as puddle. Side Quests like I said earlier are sparse, vague, and extremely easy to fail because of esoteric and archaic mechanics. There are no factions to join. Outside of the story dungeons such as Academy, all dungeons look the same (catacombs, hero grave, sewer). There are no towns with npcs to explore and converse. The world feels sterile and dead. I look around the world and I think: where is everyone? where do they live? how do they survive?
It doesn't real. It doesn't feel immersive.
I don't give a fuck how many cherrypicked screenshots you have of Caleid, the Lake of Rot, Nokron, or the Capital, the world is fucking dead and sterile.
>ass creed
You didn't bait it.
Can't wait until western developers see the success of Elden Ring and try to recreate it in their games, but in a surface level kind of way
So was Skyrim. Do you just simp for anything popular? How much did you used to suck off Elon Musk and CoD?
Amazing bait, 8/10
Many obviously shit games thrown in to cause seethe, but a few decent games thrown in to make the whole thing believable and people think “he’s serious”
A professional of his art
>ubisoft open world like ass creed
>remove any type of UI that will make navigating the thing a nightmare
>d-d-dun mean nuttin'!
>whataboutism
holy seethecope!
>half a million people still playing an essentially single player game months after it released
That's genuinely impressive
it has pvp and co-op
it's crazy how many people are playing this game. it's a gargantuan achievement
Set pieces with no substance. I don't care about looking at stupid vistas filed with the same mushrooms and Asylum Demons. I dont care about the redundant spells and weapons with the same moveset
>Odyssey was as wide as an ocean and as deep as a pool faggot
>oh wow I like that
>Elden Ring is as wide as an ocean and as deep as puddle.
>Side Quests like I said earlier are sparse, vague, and extremely easy to fail because of esoteric and archaic mechanics
>Elden Ring is as wide as an ocean and as deep as puddle.
>There are no factions to join.
lmao, that makes a bad open world game?
>all dungeons look the same
Meanwhile Odyssey literally takes shit like outposts and forts, copies them down to the last brick, and puts them somewhere else on the map
>There are no towns with npcs to explore and converse.
there are plenty of towns, you are simply the enemy
>The world feels sterile and dead
it's supposed to feel bleak, the whole fucking place is in decline
That wasn't whataboutism
>Set pieces with no substance
what an absolutely NOTHING thing to say. You couldn't elaborate on that if I put a gun to your head. Go ahead and post a BotW vista and explain how it's BETTER and DIFFERENT
The amount of fags seething over the new standard for open world game for years to come is fucking hilarious.
I wonder what sort of copium one has to inhale in order to be able to live with oneself, knowing their taste in games is so shit.
>Nothingburger
yeah sure, stupid fuck
>lmao, that makes a bad open world game?
Yes. Having no content outside of enemies to fight OBJECTIVELY makes it a bad open world game.
>Meanwhile Odyssey literally takes shit like outposts and forts, copies them down to the last brick, and puts them somewhere else on the map
And yet there's still more variety than Elden Ring. Really makes you think
>there are plenty of towns, you are simply the enemy
Lol. There are no towns bro. An abandoned town like the one in Calleid isn't what people are talking about when they bring up towns and cities in RPGs. They mean an area full of npcs to talk to, side actives and minigames, and quests to be found. There is no town that fits this criteria in Elden Ring...The world feels EMPTY. Like you're the ONLY fucking person in it
>it's supposed to feel bleak, the whole fucking place is in decline
Not an excuse. Fallout still has cities even though the land literally had dozens of nukes dropped on it. If people are still living, they will group together for protection, companionship, and trading. The fact that there's no cities contributes to the empty and UNIMMERSIVE feeling of the world.
