Where the fuck is the token sad boss I am not supposed to fight in Elden Ring?
Where the fuck is the token sad boss I am not supposed to fight in Elden Ring?
Myrmidon of loss
Billford Tedius
Rykard
Blaidd
Probably Ancestor Spirit. The entirety of Siofra River honestly feels like you shouldn't even be there fucking things up.
The huge dragon.
And you're supposed to kill Priscilla for being a lying bitch.
Boatman
He's just out minding his own business
Margit/Morgott. He's level-headed and is just trying to protect his momma and his favorite tree.
but so peaceful user
greyoll
only ds1 has something like this, but if you're talking just about sad bosses then i guess the ancestor spirit counts.
Love this nigga like you wouldn't believe
What are you talking about.
so kind
Right here.
The Tibia Mariner sounds like a newspaper. A newspaper I would read.
I actually feel kinda sorry when the fire giant breaks his leg
I felt bad fighting Gurranq after helping him
She literally jumps at you without so much as letting you get a word in edgewise.
This. Siofra River is tonally so much more peaceful and seren than the rest of the game, barring those claymen.
why would I feel bad about killing some ghost cow
What other sad bosses are there? I can only think of the demon of hated in sekiro, but you are very much supposed to fight him.
It's not her fault that From cut her questline.
malenia (and the whole haligtree/elphael area) and gurranq for me, especially after doing the questlines for them
It was supposed to be Malenia but her ending got cut from the final game.
Ebrietas I guess?
maiden astraea, grey wolf sif, gwyn, artorias, ema
Of course, sif, but he is mandatory.
>gwyn
Tell that to Maiden Astraea or Orphan of Kos.
Gwyn isn't a sad story. He literally responsible for all of the horrible shit that has ever happened to everyone in the Dark Souls universe.
He deserved everything he got.
>man who burnt himself to a zombified husk trying to keep his kingdom alive
>that theme music
He was an asshole but that piano is iconic.
>You…You killed him, didn't you? Very Well, I can no longer resist you. Do as you like. Take your precious Demon soul.
The whole Siofra river.
>Cows chilling, worshipping, respectful, singing.
>Tarnished comes along and performs a genocide
Why?
Because they try to kill you as soon as they see you?
>the land peaceful, the inhabitants kind
??? damn, another delusional soul to put down...
Pretty sure that's Kaathe and Frampt.
The big dragon in dragonbarrow
What he did was wrong. But he did it out of one reason: Fear. Imagine you being the Lord of light. Wouldnt the Dark scare you? Wouldnt you think Dark=Evil? Gwyn may not be a good person but in his perspective he was simply trying to protect his kingdom
But this land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind.
Literally no reason to feel anything for this dragon.
He's protecting the Elden Ring to make sure no one can become higher in the hierarchy than where he is
Killing Greyoll is a kindness, she's already dying from the scarlet rot, you're just giving her a clean end
Maliketh
>"Tarnished, why wouldst thou... Why..."
Doggo just wanted to keep death locked up.
It hurt me when I went into the fog door that first time.
All of them, this game is so sad you shouldn't play it
>Has to go super sayan at the the cost of letting the rot consume her to protect her brother
>He was stolen ages ago by Mogh whos up in his palace impregnating his bussy and she doesn't even know since she's blind
Ebrietas was cute and didn't mind you at all. Feels bad.
>skeleton in a wheel goes brrrrrr
I'm so confused on the lore of this whole place.
I really hope he gets a amped up spiritual successor in a new game. I like his design, but hes a joke to fight against, except for the occasional summon the giant skeleton attack.
Yeah, those ancestral warriors seem to actually be good. Taking care of animals around there etc. Felt a bit bad for killing them.
One of the best locations if you're not an oogabooga retard because you can tactically and stealthfully take the arrow snipers out one by one without triggering them all.
I always like souls borne bosses that are actually good or tragic guys just in your way.
Like Radhan that you put out of his misery.
The most boring are big bad guy that just wants to murder you just because.
Should’ve had sadder music if you gave him all of the deathroots. He sounds absolutely fucked when you show up.
Fuck that one crucible knight though. He deserved to die
Skeletons wheels, toxic hollows, bird women, toxic rats, yellow monk. Just missing Skeleton dogs and regular dogs.
no reason to believe that. he was willing to sacrifice himself to maintain order after all.
Orphan of kos fucked me up. It just all seemed so raw with his crying. Dude did not deserve what happened to him
I don't want to kill Priscilla, I want her to kill me. With her gigantic thighs
I hate how much cut content there is. Its a huge game so it was bound to happen but come on, I'd gladly lose half the catacombs and have a smaller world if it meant getting fully featured endings for things like the needle cure.
More like crippled dragon amirite?
>he never stopped to ask why am I killing demigods in the first place
its all of them user, its all of them...
I wanna rub her feet
Sif when you go to the abyss first
Radahn story is pretty sad, the dude just wanted to ride around on his horse but Malenia got him all fucked up.
I bet they are going to patch in a quest with these dragons. You will probably have to keep them alive to do it.
But Malenia is a tryhard bitch who used a fucking nuke that fucked up herself, her half brother and a whole archipelago just because she wanted to stay the undefeated swordswoman. How could they make me feel compassion for her? If anything Radahn is a more tragic fight. He just lost his mind from the rot and is wandering around, while still protecting his horse from his own attacks.
If he screamed like Micolash when riding the waves it would make the fight way cooler
this, malaria is a cunt
Rennala, but they just made it so she lives anyway
There's a few IMO.
General Radahn literally mastered gravity just to lighten the burden for his horse, and was a leader who obviously instilled admiration and loyalty in his men considering Jerren organized an entire festival just to give him the warrior's ending he deserved.
Millicent and Sellen could be considered as well, though they're both optional.
Blaidd fought his very nature for years out of loyalty to his adoptive sister, only giving in once she achieved her initial goal.
Morgott was shunned from birth due to his curse, yet still dedicated his life to protecting the center of the very religion which led to his persecution.
Maliketh was forced by his half-sister Marika to bear the rune of death because he was a beast, and was shunned by her after he let it get stolen.
Radagon spent years trying to reformed the Elden Ring after his alter-ego chimped out on it, only for some random tarnished to come and burn his home.
Most of the named dragons are just trying to protect their demi-god friends.
Also this
Lore wise there's plenty of sad bosses, it's just that they don't make it very clear since most of it has to be gleaned from item descriptions.
