You can get rid of the clayface real easy with one good default skin mod and preferably a default eye mod, but if you want to make a real good looking sim you have to go in with sliderfu.

if you're comparing vanilla un-modded Sims games then 3 and 4 are BOTH bad, but modded it's hands down 4 for cooming and 3 for actually playing the game

Sims 2 but only by technicality. Sims 1 felt too limiting, even at the time, that I didn't get much out of it. 2 was great because of the mod support, though in hindsight it all looks so samey and fluff. 3's stability issues made any long term play insufferable. 4 feels like a deep puddle.
Give me the openness of 3 with the stability and mechanics of 4, and the mod support of 2.

You don't need a modpack, maybe just face slider mods(I only have like just 2 face slider mods) and the game optimization mods. Everything else is small fixes and car addition mods and I'm having a blast.
