Is this still considered the best rpg Mario game?

Is this still considered the best rpg Mario game?

Goombella...such a absolute babe...mmmm

Nah, 64 wins that title without a doubt.

close but no

Not even top 3 lol

This whole series is soulless. SMRPG and PM64 are the only good Mario RPG games.

Fucking zoomer fag with his shit zoomer taste. Fucking kill yourself, tranny bitch.

mario and lugii are soulless zoomer shit. end yourself. SMRPG and 64 and TTYD shit on everyone of the other games.

I'd say SSS wins by a mustache hair.

64 had soul therefore it wins as best

>calls people "zoomers" if they like the games that were made before he was born

Mario and luigi superstar saga beats anything and you will never be a real woman.

of course

DUDE BEANS AND LUCKY MUSTACHE MEMES HAHAHAHAHAH SO FUCKING FUNNY BRO!
kill yourself, lesser series fag

SMRPG, Paper Mario, TTYD, and Superstar Saga are the top 4 Mario RPGs.

I'm a zoomer and these are the only good Mario RPGS:
Paper Mario 64
TTYD
Superstar Saga
Bowser's Inside Story

SPM isn't an RPG but I like it, I have not played Super Mario RPG so I don't have an opinion on it

Going to show a friend that loved the paper mario series Superstar Saga, should we play the original, or the remake?

Remake

remake for the neat QoL although I think the original has far more soul into it

Both

Personally I would go for remake simply for no tutorials

>the original has far more soul into it
that's my primary concern, I played the original multiple times but personally couldn't bring myself to finish the remake. Are the QoL and graphical updates much better than the soulless enemy changes?

I want...to have anal sex with goombella.

I'd argue yes.

pm64 takes 98 years to finally get going
TTYD is similar but at least the beginning of the game is more interesting

If your friend doesn't have the zoom zoom mindset than he should play the original. It does leave a bigger impact with the amazing sprite work and the ost just sounding better with the gba sound font

SMRPG is objectively the best Mario RPG. Followed by Paper Mario and a couple of those GBA games.

What's Bowser's Minions?
Was there another M&L remake for 3DS that had another mode added too?

the kino trio

It's a side mode where you control a squad of Mario enemies that fight other teams. You play as a leader who gives commands while the others fight automatically.
Bowser's Inside Story's remaster had a similar mode with Bowser Jr., I believe.

remove lebbit game on right then yes kino duo

Wrong.

I am never wrong

Super Paper Mario is better

No tutorials, fast forward button, and lowering the grinding for advanced bros moves is worth playing the remake alone

but making them seperate moves seemed lame and adding a cap to them

I'd put Superstar Saga, Mario RPG, and TTYD in the same S category.

What's the best post-SPM RPG?
In other words, which is better: Dream Team or Kingdom Battle?

kingdom battle is shit and very low budget

>Macho Grubba anywhere but top tier

Yes

he sucks, he looks intimidating but he's the easiest boss in the game. that freaky hulk hogan hawk was better.

>he's the easiest boss in the game
Rawk Hawk is much easier, that’s the whole point of that fight.

Based

Please for the love of fucking god, tell me there's more of this.

I wish I could enjoy Kingdom Battle. I'm not an overly serious person but I just can't fucking get passed the Rabbids or the wAcKy HuMoR.
I tried it recently and the intro alone had me wondering what the fuck I was playing.

It’s close

no boss fight in TTYD is hard except for maybe the smorg and magnus 2.0
>bonetail
bonetail gives you like 30 levels before you get to him, making him piss easy

This is good but I think it's sequel Bug Fables was better.

The artist hasn't done more of Goombella yet, but has done more Paper Mario stuff.

Most mario rpgs are full of “wacky humor”

In my opinion... yes.

I will never get the praise for TTYD. It's absolutely soulless compared to 64.

Attached: EO1WjKTWAAAOLut.jpg (1024x768, 48.68K)

It has a better battle system.
>but the overworld-
>but the backtracking-
A system that you interact with for the entire game outweighs slightly disappointing overworld design. If the Gamecube and N64 were equally moddable, master quest would always have happened on PM64 before Gamecube- because it's way easier to balance, seeing as it's way more mechanically simple.

Jesus you're a faggot

I'm not the one who likes superstar shitga

Nah

i know it's cheating because it's a mod, but master quest made me change my mind on this, super guarding kills any need for real strategies. not the other poster btw

Yeah, I kinda have to tack on *except for the literal frame perfect invincibility button to all my points on it. The game's less fun in multiple ways when you take it into account, but it's great on a first playthrough. I remember being much younger and actually getting hyped I managed to superguard the giant shockwave in the final fucking boss instead of using the intended "switch to vivian and hide" strategy. Its damage timing is super fucked up.
