dung eater's ending is dark souls 2
Sekiro*
embarrassing how ds1 looks the best
from really forgot how to make a good looking game during ds2s development
the one in elden ring looks like just some generic stalagmite formation for background effect. dark souls was arch trees holding up the entire world, which is an awesome fantasy concept and also was placed in the perfect area for maximum contrast. Being in the shit sewers and toxic stagnant swamps of the very bottom of the world then going WAY further down and coming out in such a heightened fantasy place was fantastic.
Is the implication in bloodborne that theres hunter's dreams on the top of all of those pillars? all with their own lil house and stuff?
why cause the game is shit?
BASED
Yes.
Still Ash Lake for me. Wish it had more to explore seeing as it was so vast.
soulless
SOVL
soulless
SOVL
What the FUCK IS THIS.
what n64 game is this
Haha maybe, just maybe Elden Ring is at the top of the Arch Trees haha just a thought, just a little lore tid-bit a splashing of lore theory crafting so to say
kino
DUDE TREES
the most basic of DS2 background scenery bullshit, not even close to the least of its problems visually
Savage
>dark souls 2 is the most visually pleasing
lmfao. play the games back to back just like I did and youll truly see just how fucking ugly DS3 and Elden Ring are
I made one too.
what the FUCK IS THIS
DS2 truly is the best looking Souls game, every scene is like a painting
>remake
I love you.
that would be the elden lord ending
what n64 game is this?
Miyazaki literally does it again
and again
and again
and again
why can't japs into art?
their creators die before they can finish their shit
Dark souls 3 brother, the ugliest game ever made
people really gotta stop posting that in place of the real cover(s)
DELETE THIS!
OH NOO YOU CANT COPY MY DENSE FORREST THATS MY IDEA
I LITERALLY CAME UP WITH THAT
Oh boy here we go.
I even liked DS2 as a non Souls game.
But it sure can be ugly.
Majula still best hub tho
easiest fight ever. Just sprint to him and than stand at his belly.
fuckin hell that's bad
In DS2 you can see the background. In DS1 you can play in the background.
glitched spot you're not even supposed to get to.
DS2 has no soul
What about this tho
DS2 is not bright like this. I know this windmill is ugly but pls post with real brightnes settings.
Even the best looking games can be ugly if you fuck up the gamma or brightness.
?
nice fake picture. heres an actual pic from the game
WHY is Ds3 so ugly? Who thought this glossy and desaturated gray and brown was appealing?
Or how about the nonsensical walkways that operate on video game logic in the Iron Keep or Drangleic Castle.
Like I said DaS 2 is a fun game, and has some very nice areas (ADP, M, ToH) but it's totally inconsistent in tone, atmosphere and logic.
DS2 is the beginning of Dreg Heap. It's twisted and convoluted.
The same reason why you can see NPCs and phantoms in DS1 that don't longer exist. Like Havel.
Pure fucking soul.
>Is the implication in bloodborne that theres hunter's dreams on the top of all of those pillars? all with their own lil house and stuff?
The only thing we know about the pillars in bloodborne is that the game files refer to them as "shrines".
No not you
>you can play in the background.
kek'd
Why is Dark Souls 3 so fucking ugly?
>make game ugly for lore purposes.
TANIMURA SENPAI YOU ARE A GENIUS
Damn thats bad delete this
Oh delete it that's bad!
fucking hell that's bad
>Age of stars
>Bloodborne
But that's wrong you fucking retard. Ranni gets rid of the ayys, she doesn't bring them. Not that the other two endings make any more sense. This graphic was made by a single digit IQ moron.
>DS2 is not bright like this.
Didn't we have a whole shitstorm because the game was too bright?
Oh wait, you wouldn't know about that, it was before you were born.
>DS2 is the beginning of Dreg Heap.
Ah yes, dark souls 2's world is a mess because of a concept that wouldn't be thought up for several years by a different director, definitely not because of its documented shitfest development cycle.
pathetic deflection lmao
have some more brother
I think that looks pretty good desu
I forgot how fugly the UI is in 3. DS2 had the best one
the stones look like melted clay and the colors are insulting but thats your opinion brother
my house
>Buy DS3 on release
>Find this almost 15 minutes into the game
>Think it's a rendering but, they'll patch it
>Play through again last week
>It's still there
They just look faded and damp. It's not the prettiest area in the world but there are much worse ones in either games I think.
Is there like a "degloss" mod for ds3 to get rid of the fucking horribly glossy effect on everything?
What's up with the amount of DS2 apologists lately? These last few days there's been like 3 or 4 threads up at all times, with the same images posted and with obvious samefagging. Did Smashniggers move on to DS2 for their shitposting material after Elden Ring released? Or are they actually like this?
It's because (You) take the bait, you third rate pattern recognizer.
The armor in DS2 was so fucking good. Fuck, I want this shit in Elden Ring.
cool story
The problem with this is that it doesn't explain why Dragons in Elden Ring use Lightning, but are weak to it in Dark Souls.
I personally, my headcanon is that Elden Ring takes place after the events of all 3 in some kind of conjoined universe way, and the dragons have remade themselves with the ability to wield Lightning that used to be their weakness.
fucking kek
Part of it is just shitposters going for easy (You)s, part of it is genuinely deranged subhumans that have been doing it for years now
>ARE THOSE...TREE TRUNKS IN CLOUDS? I'M...GOOOOOOONA LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE
literally the same shit but with the bonfire on screen trying to cover up a bit
>Getting rid of the ayys
Maybe she got rid of most of them, but one or two that got left behind caused the events of BB or something.
The time and weather changes dramatically when you pass through the tunnel to Drangleic Castle is the key to what's actually happening during those "inconsistencies." It's a narrative tool essentially. It's the "Chapter X" or "Meanwhile" segue. The issue is that that only works in noninteractive media. A movie, a show, a book, etc., because you're not actively engaging in the pacing, you're being led through a story at the author's pace. Games are different. So that's what that is and why it happens and also why it doesn't really work. I appreciate what they were going for, trying to imply walking for hours instead of having you actually do it, but they shouldn't have.
>594493423
truly an open world before Elden Ring
Lmao
Isnt 2 canonical to the trilogy and mentioned in 3 or was that just fan-service?
