If you have the option, get DMC3 on Switch. For DMC1 the HD Collection is pretty good.

the PS3/360 hd collection is better because it didnt have the bugs/awful graphical changes featured in the current gen ports

yes absolutely. All the hd collections seem to be the same exept for the ps3 one which had bugged out cutscenes. The only difference really is the special switch version of 3

yes. emulate if you want. i recommend the hd port mostly for 3. the isolated port of 3 on steam is horrendous. the hd version of 3 is great.

maybe the PS3 is different but I'm pretty sure all the inaccuracies/bugs originated from the 360 version at least

If you have a PS2 and the originals, that's still the best way to experience them. The HD versions aren't butchered like Silent Hill HD collection, but there are some minor quirks. If you never played the originals religiouslky, you likely wouldnt notice them in the first place though.

1 and 2 are the same pretty much everywhere, 3 is better on Switch but it flopped so wait for a price drop.
