What video games have this fatal flaw?

I can beat all of my friends easily and I always start with blacks

Fighting games.

More like
>go first
>play well
>no-one wins

In pokemon, having a higher speed is usually a massive advantage

just use cheats

that really isn't a flaw

okay nigger

MvC2

This was the dumbest thing to happen in that show

>game is less fun the more you learn
Which games do this?

Magic: The Gathering: Arena:::

Town of Salem

you just don't understand, when you do you will feel ashamed

And let me guess, the only female character is a fucking Mary sue? "You can go in any direction, anywhere, anything you want" God I fucking hate women

Until you get blown the fuck out by a trick room team that is.

chess is kinda boring because to get a really challenging game you'd have to play at least an hour rather than have one of those 5 minute memorizing opening runs

and then one brainfart and it's over

i always thought that board games like neuroshima hex or seasons or whatever wargame with chits were just fluffy variants of chess until i actually learned more about chess and started winning and hating it; now i appreciate theme and randomness much more.

the new xcom games

>lose the female piece
>can still win the game
Slow down there, Jimbo. The King is the most important piece. The game literally revolves around it.

literally any rpg

Imagine looking at chess and getting angry about women.

>he will never come back

I think chess need to have 9 more queens (same moveset) to be a bit more representative of women, you can throw the pawns out they don't matter.

>Guess I got, what I deserve
>Kept you waiting there, too long my love

>i always thought that board games like neuroshima hex or seasons or whatever wargame with chits were just fluffy variants of chess until i actually learned more about chess and started winning and hating it

Weird flex, but okay. Good to know.

but pawns can become kings, that makes chess a meritocracy

All the pawns being queens would be pure chaos.

whoops I meant queens, don't mock my mistake please my ego is very fragile

>Go first
That's an uncharacteristically wise tier list of OP

Russian rulette with an automatic gun.
Which incidentally, OP, you should fucking try.

like every game involving capture points, only on ctf and deathmatch is staying back and building defenses better

Chess looks like a game for geniuses until you actually learn it
Go is the actual game for geniuses that chess appears to be

Imagine being new

Most of them

No, everyone and their fuckin grandmother getting a geass in the second season was.

I'm watching Hikaru no Go right now and I feel like an absolute brainlet despite being good at riichi mahjong and chess.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. I think they use professional games for most matches in the show and don't really explain anything, while playing them out at an absurd pace.

I love you, user-chan

life

imagine if Chess wasn't turn-based and instead had like a real-time ATB system where each player could move again after like 20 seconds per move, and both could start at the same time. It would make the game so much faster paced and you couldn't sit there for 20 minutes and think about your move

That sounds like blitz, but non-functional

Most RTSs
