Icepick Lodge responded to my question about something that turned out to be a bug in Pathologic 2 literally in 4 hours, thanking me for bringing the issue to them, offering me to fix my save file, and generally being amazing.
Space Engineer devs helped me to solve a whole bunch of bugs I've came across - and I don't count community manages are devs - I mean the actual dev who took interested after the communit manager could not figure out what is going wrong. Again, it all took less than a day.
Same happened to me with Transport Fever 1 and 2 and Factorio.
Zelený - the guy developming Machinky had an entire prolonged conversation with me the subject of ballance and potential future of passanger A.I. And while I am sure I did not manage to convince him of my point - (which I did not really even expect) - MASSIVELY respect him for even engaging me and having a generally interesting discussion which helped me understand his decision.

Oh yeah, and IPL also just kinda bro'ed up with us back on release of Pathologic HD edition in a thread where people speculated about the sources of inspiration about the game, responding to me that I was right on a couple of books I've said I think were major influences, and also wrong on several others.

Looking back at it, virtually all the devs that were really fucking amazing and open to direct communication were from eastern europe - Czechs or Russians, mostly.

BS is basically the same issue as Yandere Sim and CoC. You could see the difference of progress from art being made and the amount of content being made in parallel, we'd have full fledged species already out to push but not in because they weren't implemented. Sure, it can be hard to implement shit, but even still pictures you'd get in quests were not implemented to the point he'd rather add a cheat code for gallery than implement a placeholder encounter in game.

Not on the forums, but I wrote some review for this shitty stick figure game (battlestick I think?) like 5 years ago and said something akin to "after playing this game i consider suicide a great option" and the dev posted a comment with the suicide hotline number and said I was cared about lol. soon after the review itself was deleted for violating steam terms or something.

Because unironically US Southerners (or just people in rural areas in general) are actually fairly friendly and outgoing people for the most part, and people like these actually tend to cheer people up. Meanwhile I go back to Cali and everyone is rude, and constantly ignores each other. These people think that by stealing the rural colloquialisms they can attempt to appear endearing as well, but it doesn't actually work because they're still being rude.
