Getting used to reverse the beat first time for did involve just doing 6B > 5[C] > 2A and 6A > 2A with Hyde when I was starting out.
I wouldn't place such a big number on it but only enough that it becomes something you can reliably fall back on

It still has a hefty start-up and losing to lows really lowers its effectiveness in the times you would want a parry.
For now, with my incredibly stilted Vat knowledge, it just seems to reinforce her anti-zoning and jump in callouts.
We'll have to wait until someone good with her displays its applications

The magic of j214/236x whiff cancelling was only made known to me like a week before CLR but it seems to be an actually good tactic in clr now that j214x is air unblockable

so i've been meaning to ask, any good consensus as to what lond's non jank pressure is? i feel like i'm relying a bit too much on rekka mixups to open people up, and i'm not sure if that's just netplay unreactable memes or not. speaking of memes, i should start incorporating 66c into my mika now that the move's actually good

Are you able to convert off that new Nanase diving attack from the air at all? Seems like a cool move but haven't seen too much utility for it yet.

I only tested it briefly, seems like you can't convert off even a CH without resources unless it only hits one time. The A version will only hit once if TK'd, but the B version would need precise spacing.

5C and 2C reach pretty damn far and his both his lights are 6 frames but serve their reverse beat purposes.
Try to catch someone sleeping with 6B too
And that 66C is actually fucking good

I feel like I'm getting better are doing resets as Yuzu but it really sucks I can't finish a combo now and I'm doing like 1.6-2k max per confirm.

That sounds really particular. What a shame. Hope someone manages to figure out how to make them work somehow in the near future. Otherwise, some of these changes will have not really amounted to much even if they add more flare to a character's move pool.

2B is 10 frames, it's fucking ass and doesn't even hit low
3B is better as an actual low but it's still pretty slow all things considered.
I will give 5B a mention because it catches people trying to TK divekick on wakeup and catches people at a higher altitude than 6B

Thrust leads to neutral unless in the corner though. Also damn, Yuzu is really hard to air-to-air and I totally forgot about the 3B > 5C thing

Neutral means I'm not close, thrust knocks people away on hit. I might just try the old no-thrust approach while otherwise playing normally against you actually, you've gotten even harder to catch

That's a pretty interesting take. It definitely looks like a playstyle that can irritate people more than even people going all in with rushdown and no brakes.

Yeah I doubt it will work in the long run against high level players but I do enjoy controlling the screen and forcing resets in neaut.

This is a really late response but you could try going for a grab from time to time after stopping the rekka early. Most people won't dare to mash there I feel, and if they are gutsy enough to do so you just murder them normally.
