People tried to get NMS sued or into trouble for false adverising at launch. The authorities said then that the interviews mean jack shit and only the stuff on the box matters.

only the early game. its a bit like stardew valley, you do everything by hand initially but you unlock more and more shit where you dont do anything by hand and its all automated leaving more time to go explore or go do space missions and kill pirates if you like. unfortunatelty planet generation still leaves much to be desired, they keep adding lots of neat stuff, but i really wish they would go back and revamp planets.

Early game is like that, but once you get money rolling you can mostly stop resource collecting. Super easy to cheese the system in regards to money too.

Just read the patchnotes. There's like 7 updates I think. Fixed a lot of shit. Added that multiplayer you wanted too. Now you can do Starwars tier battles with friends.

Considering how NONE of the western industry EVER does even half of what you can call an "adequate work" these days, you should feel a little thankful that the whole western hemisphere of gaming still has 1/9th of any hope it still deserves.
