Look up a world record speedrun of a game I like
what game? post video
trannies be speedrunning to the grave LMAO
>dead eyed, joyless mouthbeather with the personality and charisma of a dead fish sitting in silence save for an occasional inane, monotone response to some random family member
You're not so different.
It’s about the run not the runner
Sort of like a tripcode?
>speedrun
What did you expect frogposter
>look up the world record
>it's a based hispanic coomer who makes twitch streamers seethe with envy

IGN has the right Idea with their "devs react to speedrun" series. they mute the gormless tard doing the actual run and have interesting people talk instead.
gee, i dunno, maybe it has something to do with the runner needing concentration so he focuses entirely on the game?
why are you looking up speedruns in the first place? go play a video game instead you stupid faggot
What did you expect? That someone who would practice playing a game a certain way for thousands of hours wouldn't be severely autistic?
this was pretty great for the Crash Bandicoot 1 speedrun
Always the worst. Unless the gameplay speaks for itself, speedruns require good commentary. It's extremely difficult to do a speedrun and good commentary at the same time - that's why GDQ has a couch, as an example. I much prefer having the runner (or someone well informed) do commentary after the fact on a run, even if it's not a world record.
Why do they require good commentary? Hell, a lot of videos on games in general get flak for having commentary in them, especially here.
who gives a shit about the player
fucking zoomers I swear
imo people streaming games shouldn't show their fucking faces or speak at all
just show the game that's what I came here to see not 10 minutes of "hey guys it's me again *catchphrase* *catchphrase* *catchphrase* *product placement* *product placement* *catchphrase* "
youtube was a mistake
Most speedruns use intricate tricks and glitches that aren't apparently or easily understandable if you've never seen the game played at that level before. Even someone innately familiar with the game would balk at some of the crazy shit that happens in a run. To me, if you don't fully understand that, you can't fully appreciate the run. That's why shit like Pannenkoek's videos for SM64 or Tomatoanus' recent Speedruns Explained, or even Cosmo's explanation of his world record run all those years ago get so popular. Most people aren't natively familiar with speedruns, so having commentary makes it much more enjoyable.
SmallAnt1 is the only enterteining sneedrunner
I should clarify that when I say commentary, I generally mean something added in post. I don't particularly care for live commentary during the run itself, unless the runner happens to be entertaining.
>seething this much
you sound incredibly autistic
>speedrunner plays on Easy
Yuck
Fair enough. From what I've seen, complaints also arise if videos have commentary at all, sometimes. Seems like a lose lose situation.
Why are transgenderism and speedrunning so intrinsically linked?
You have to be mentally ill to be either.
You wish you had the guts to sacrifice everything in order to be the best at one game but you don't so you make fun of them as a coping mechanism. Pathetic.
Don't forget extreme fandom of Nintendo
>look up a world record speedrun
>it's a guy doing random moves on level 1 for 30 seconds that triggers a glitch that skips to the end credits
>1.7 million views
Um hello, based department?
i like the idea of speedrunning and find videos where they break down techniques interesting but the runs themselves are cancer due to all the detestable tranny runners.
>Watches something autists do
>Why is this guy so autist
You're just realizing that speedrunning is full of autists?
>Look up a world record speedrun
Yeah you're no better than them autist

cope, retard.
Funfact: this Diablo 2 speedrunner got nameddropped by a normie multi-millionaire for his finaincial advice podcast
Sort of like a tripcode?
>Speedrun is not commentated, doesn't have those ugly split segment times cluttering the screen, no facecam/controller cam or any other obnoxious overlay
>It's 100% pure gameplay
These are always the best. The close second is interesting commentaries but even then, you have to look at those ugly fucking split times on the side since they're related somehow.
I do not think they require commentary at all. If the game is interesting to watch and it's one of my favorite games I'm gonna be into it regardless.
im not sure what you expected t b h
It's funny because I could just play and finish a fucking game that these trannies would never touch and I'll have the world record speedrun for it forever
>Most
Not really, the vast majority of exploits in games can be done by anyone who knows they exist (e.g. I played Megabyte Punch a lot before looking up a run, and it turns out AI can be cheesed very easily by standing on a self-made platform, which baits them away from the main platforms and they run out of double jumps trying to reach you). Usually it's only games that have been ground into the dirt with hundreds of thousands of hours where the really crazy glitches start to appear
weebs > frogposters
Speedrunners need to be funny. They NEED to be funny. When you've seen a speedrun of a game once, it's fun, but after that it's just the same shit over and over again. Speedrunners need to learn to be entertaining if they want their hobby to survive.
I don't want it to survive.
>look up a TAS of a game I like
>no faggot wannabe eceleb, no trannies, no epic reddit humor commentary, just pure gameplay
>gameplay is played to perfection performing inhuman and amazing moves and actions
>learn new things about the game through detailed text commentary instead of some sperg spilling spaghetti over something that happened 5 minutes ago
>runner uses sections of downtime to play around with the character and just have fun, compared to soulless 'donation' reading
>look up female speedrunning event
>everyone are dudes
Sort of like a tripcode?
Not gonna lie, that is funny as hell. It took me weeks to beat Harmony of Dissonance when I first played it, and to see that TAS shit is just pure giggle factor.
>Speedrunners need to learn to be entertaining if they want their hobby to survive.
what the hell are you talking about, man? is your zoomer mind so hopelessly infected that you think someone cannot enjoy a hobby if they can't stream it on twitch for thousands of viewers? what do you do for fun?
You clearly wanted to see the actual speedrun, so why is it a problem that the runner is silent?
I'd take that over a retard with obnoxious subscription alerts and donation notifications who talks about irrelevant shit over the entire speedrun.
>Look up a world record speedrun of a game I like
>guy is super charismatic, has a whole conference hall filled with people who hang on his every word
>video has hundreds of thousands of views
You just like shitty games, you autistic nerd
