I would agree, except there's no PVP multiplayer. ODST is the best singleplayer for sure.

Maybe. But I didn't have as much fun with this game when it released. forge and custom games weren't as popular and it all looked like bland grey shit anyway. The weapons were all boring and felt like shit to use compared to 2 and 3. The cosmetic armor was the greatest in the series but overall I liked halo 2 and 3 mp more. reach never grew on me even though i was more hyped about that game than i was 2 or 3. I didn't like the grassland theme at all that forgeworld had and most of the maps in multiplayer ended up being forgeworld maps instead of original content. didn't have a single memorable one either besides maybe swordbase and boardwalk and neither of those were especially good or anything. nothing like sandbox, sandtrap or foundry. with the split in community from h3 and reach plus other games coming out at the time i could literally feel the halo community dying off and it feels bad cause there's never been another one like that since.

Forge world was all grey and other environments weren't as good
Only a few maps were actually good
Paper armored vehicles
TU fucked up balance even more

also all of the cool shit people put a ton of effort into for Fileshare like the predator guy and the people who used to break out of maps and do forge shit there, or the straight up anime porn made out of guns kek. there was stuff like vidmaster and Sarkathlon for Recon armor and recon memes in general. reach didn't really have the same kind of community surrounded by it

What was the golden age of Halo multiplayer like before Halo 4 dropped?

Any anons got sick of Halo? last year I bought a Xbone and beat H1, H2 and H3. then the pc version came started with Reach(the only one it got) but I dropped the campaign hard after a few hours. Should I play odst, 4 and 5?

It was great bro, halo 3 era especially. Everyone who was cool played that shit. you had all these people on, great community of what trannies today would call "toxic", youtube videos with machinima. MW2 and h3 were what everyone played and it was kino i dont care about the cringe im a zoomber and proud.

Best thing to come out of 4's multiplayer after patches was mini-slayer and that was it.
