Based. It was flawed but still fun, and the IP had a lot of potential. The sequel fixed a lot of the problems from the first one, so it's a shame it couldn't continue evolving.

Also, the soundtrack is nothing short of god tier, especially Time Square.

It absolutely boils my blood that lower-level grognards try to think back to ye olde days of first-person RPGs and can only remember the turn-based stuff and fucking Daggerfall. LoL3 was a beautiful gem, and it didn't have that fuckawful "click and drag" combat or that "it's ((procedurally generated)) content, so it's PERFECT" level generation.
