Is Stardew Valley fun or just a time killer?
Is Stardew Valley fun or just a time killer?
Both, but time spent doing something you enjoy is not wasted time.
It's a fun time killer.
Relatively fun with mods
Literally no difference, faggot.
FARMS LIKE THIS PISS ME THE FUCK OFF!!! WHY ARE YOU NOT MINMAXING!!! THERES SO MUCH FUCKING SPACE WHY WOULD YOU WASTE TIME WITH TINY LITTLE PLOTS OF LAND WITHOUT EVEN A SINGLE SPRINKLER IF YOU ARE FAR ENOUGH TO BUY SHEDS AND MULTIPLE FRUIT TREES REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
No meat industry because devs are pussies = no buy
People shouldn't be eating meat anyway.
why not?
Very based, fren. :3
kys
It's not good for you and you don't need it to live.
Define "fun"
but you need it.
is there an actual way to win the game?
There are tons of people and entire cultures that do not eat meat in any form.
Haley and Penny are the best here.
Although making what's her face and the wizard dragons while both of her parents raccoons kind of ruins the joke.
name 5
I dropped after ~4 hours of play. Rimworld is better game for fun and timekill. Plus you can just play RF4
Me, my wife, my wife's boyfriend, my wife's bull, and my wife's son.
Grow flowers near your honey to massively increase the price of it.
There are mods for that
AESTHETICS
GET HELLA MONEY AND GET ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS

grind
I mean you could argue getting 4 candles first try is winning but that was so easy I actually did it without knowing it was a thing.
It's a sandbox farming game. What do you think?
honestly i miss playing Harvest Moon Back to Nature over this
>Better girls
>Better secrets
>Better festivals
I'd consider seeing all the content a run can offer to be the end, which meant that once I saw the grandpa ghost on year 3 I was pretty much finished.
It's fun.
Meat industry is bad for the environment and bad from a land-use perspective
Year 2 has a very small amount of new content over year 1. Combine that with the fact that most people wont be able to do everything till year 2 and thats a good end point. Kind of a shame the games doesnt add to much over the years.
fun?
>There are tons of people and entire cultures that do not eat meat in any form.
no there arent. Any culture that is completely 'meatless' is getting their proteins through bugs from unwashed veggies
>people shouldn't be eating meat anyways
found the low t
>he fell for the meat is bad for enviroment meme
>housing animals (especially cows) is inefficient
>you have to grow food to feed them, which is mostly used by the animals to live, rather than to add on meat
>you have to give them more water
>they emit harmful gases like methane
tried to get into a few times, never could. I suppose ig you like Harvest moon you will like stardew valley, its just not for me
I liked the idea of foraging so I selected the Forest Farm.
Got four cows with a heater and four chickens also with a heater.
Upgraded to steel tools and just hit winter and just finished the crafts room bundles.
I suck at fishing right now too.
>Wildfires
do things ever attack or do you hunt or what?
no you only get attacked in caves or if you pick the spooky farm map at night
I also have a beehive, a perserves pot, cheese maker and a mayonaise maker
Silo full of hay and two charcoal makers and a smelter.
Wasnt sure of the bundle items but I need to check out that new bridge next.
fun, I hope the next patch is nice and big too
>inneficent
If they were inefficient they wouldn't have been domesticated at all so there must have been some reason to have them
like I don't know
being a solid source of protein that hardly require exterior foods to feed itself.
And since they use a naturally growing plant on the soil there's no need to worry about lose in fertility.
>but what about the environment
What do you think those pasture were originally, they were either prairies or forest's, that hosted their own animals, all cows did was switch what was living there. Cow's themselves get their carbon from plants, car's and other natural resource exploiting sources tap carbon from the ground that originally isolated from the environment
post farms
People will deny it, but this is the best pack around
they were domesticated because we produce a shitload of plantfood and didn't have to worry about running out of space, pollution, etc
>What do you think those pasture were originally, they were either prairies or forest's, that hosted their own animals,
yes, we are reducing the biodiversity of the planet in order to have massive populations of one species (cows)
What level do you have to be to unlock carbon as a playable character?
