I'll give you chrono trigger, but FFVII is literally just FFVI done right, they even recycled a ton of the plot points and themes from VI because they couldn't use them properly in VI
The one thing that VI did better than VII was sabin's blitz system, which was a fucking rad idea and remains a rad idea to this day. I'd also make an argument that letting each character have a unique command is a good idea, but most of them were useless gimmicks once you get esper magic, and materia is just a better version of that

Goldeneye was a technological marvel when it came ot . Back then most FPS games were either doom clones or duke nukem clones. Then came goldeneye which was the first "realistic" console game of it's time. With complex animations and realistic character models ALL rendered in 3d.
